Google Fi which uses T-Mobile. Someone that accessed Beta 1 code said NVMO not supported. Here are my thoughts as to why I don’t see it:

1. NVMO not suported
2. Required carrier update to device
3. I’m on a U.S. iPhone, US region settings, US carrier and located in the U.S. but logged in with my UK Apple account, so it might be locked to Apple account location.
If I am not mistaken, GoogleFI uses multiple carriers, some of which may not support RCS, so it would make sense to not support RCS, if it is dependent upon which carrier you are actually on. My backup line is on Boost Infinite, which uses AT&T, so it appears that that line also supports it.

It uses two, but the service lists that it supports RCS and does not provide a caveat that some areas don’t.

It kinda has to, Google have been touting the RCS train.

maybe its just a matter of the GoogleFi carrier settings being updated. If it is capable on the service, it is likely just the carrier settings. Since RCS didn’t happen on IOS, the settings might not have been there yet.

Maybe, but that isn’t what the article says. So it is indeed wrong.
Which carrier?

Edit: nm, I can see you have Google Fi. I don't know that it's working with NVMO as of now, I've only seen it available for T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon users.

I believe Fi only uses T-Mobile in the US now.

The actual issue is that RCS is enabled by the carrier bundle, which Fi does not have or use.

The connected card widget is working for me in the UK but only shows one card at time you have to choose which one
I have my Nationwide credit and debit cards added to Wallet. I just activated "connected card" for the credit card and, after showing me both accounts (I selected both) it has activated it for both those cards.

Is there a list of UK banks supporting this? My other cards aren't showing it as an option. Or is that what you mean - I have to de-activate it from Nationwide before I can see it for other cards?

Sometimes I wonder if Google deliberately gimps Fi on iPhone. Why would they make it easy to use iOS instead of Android?

I don't put it past them either. Nobody hates their own customers quite like Google.
Yup, it’s a real shame, because their plan is really good especially for me traveling a bit and the rolling 30 day contract.

Seriously considering moving from them though, issue is none of the major carriers offer these kinda terms it’s usually the NVMOs and I could end up on the same kinda issue elsewhere.

I wish Apple would create an Apple Version of this but worldwide - I’d pay more to have all of my Apple devices enrolled and not have to worry about any of this crap 🤷🏼‍♂️

For me it's security. I've had my SIM swapped in the past, and Fi has top notch security practices (virtue of using Google accounts). From calling / messaging / asking around, none other comes close.

Control Center

The power button in the Control Center has a more pronounced haptic feel when pressing it, and it only triggers with a press rather than just a tap. The change will prevent the power button from accidentally being activated when using Control Center.
Control center seems to have lost the Home controls page when you scroll down through it too, just showing Favourites, Now Playing and Connectivity pages in beta 2.

Hope it fixes CarPlay where was playing music mono sounding like through a tin can. I’ll test later when home. F150 2022 Wireless CarPlay.

I really hope they make homekit more reliable. Many features simply doesn’t work, like registering who is home and specific motion detection.
I’m finding HomeKit more and more issue prone and I’m ready in my next home to find another solution. Apple just hasn’t been staying ahead of the game and others are getting tired of the games they play too. Probably contributing to the lack of adoption.

genuine, non-sarcastic question: what is the point of having an RCS toggle? is it just about carrier support?
Maybe people with limited data plans? In my limited research, it appears that RCS uses your cellular data, so receiving high quality images over RCS would use up data if you have a plan like GoogleFi where you pay by the GB.
