So i wrote an email about this to Tim Cook 2 times and got no reply but the third time (2 weeks ago) i got an email back from someone from the customer relations department.

I asked if Tim Cook really had seen my email and he explained to me that he could not say anything about the internal processes within Apple but that indeed my mail to Tim cook was forwarded to some people in the company to look at.
After a few calls and a basic technical apple care troubleshooting he forwarded my findings to engineering.
Then my contact person came back with feedback from engineering

- Yes we are aware of the fact that some people experience this issues.
- It is due to the screen technology and not your specific device.
- A tip is to enable auto brightness

(that made me wonder if they acutually understand the issue) But they explained that this is no solution but it could help because you have the correct brightness in all light environments.
- No thanks, we don´t need your help or additional feedback, we know about the issue.
- There is no estimation on when we have a solution software or hardware, but we work on it.
- We assure you that your feedback is been picked up by important people in the company and gets attention.
So no solution for now... but if all the above is actually true i think it gained some new attention at Apple. So please keep sending your feedback to Apple!
