That can be said for pretty much anything.

I bet they will be releasing something sometime soon.
 
Facebook 3.0 Old Icon

Hey everyone when I first downloaded 3.0 it had the new icon, but out of nowhere now I have the old icon.

I deleted it and reinstalled and as it was downloading it showed the new icon, but when it finished I still had the old one.

Is there any way I can get the new icon back?
 
I don't know about anyone else, but I left Myspace because my crazy ex was harassing me. On Facebook I felt like I was unfindable, and I'm still able to keep my fair distance now thanks to it's easier privacy settings. Huzzah.

I dunno if it IS actually anything to do with Facebook but I've never had any trouble on it. Maybe everyone just moved on... I don't know...
 
I been deleted my MySpace account. It was nothing be spam...etc. It's all about Facebook and Twitter now. Both of them are well organized. Myspace got out of hand how cluttered it looks.
 
Are you sure you don't have a theme enabled in Winterboard?

My girlfriend, for example, just adds anyone. Then when she finds out she's added someone she probably shouldn't have done (ie. a parent's friend or whatever) when she's written something a bit objectionable, there's a slight panic.
I know that's her fault for adding everyone and anyone, but the number of people who do is ridiculous.

Me? I have about 50 friends and can tell you how I know each and every one of them, or at least how they are of some way related to my life. And why they deserve to be called my "friend".
 
You kids with your FaceSpaces and MyBooks and Tweetering and Texting and MSM messages! :p

Seriously, I stopped really using MySpace halfway through college. FaceBook is a lot more polished, I think it caters more to those of us who are not 15 and have sparkly unicorns and autoplay music on their profiles.
 
I like the new icon much more. I expect 3.1 will fix the icon issue but I would delete from iTunes and iPhone then 'buy' on your computer and sync it to your iPhone once it downloads.
 
I didn't jailbreak so idk what exactly winterboard is.

Thanks for the responses though, I'm gonna delete it from my iTunes and iPhone and then buy it on the computer and sync.
 
Do NOT update the latest facebook app

Hi all

Do not update with the latest Facebook app for a 3G phone. I did it today on the phone & it froze after I had downloaded it. I did a hard restart & the phone wouldn't then turn on. I went to the Apple shop in Regents Street & another chap was there & he had the same problem

Apple were fantastic & replaced both phones.

Just seems too much of a coincidence that were both there at the same time for the same reason??
 
No problem on the 3Gs.
1 strange problem when rotating from portrait to landscape. I sometimes get a small strip of letters that says qwertyXXXXXX, X's being other letters. this prevents the keyboard from operating correctly.

7 3Gs all upgrade no lock ups.
 
one thing that i thought would be in the update was groups. i still enjoy the app very much but would have liked to see that in the update :)
