Two weeks is just the normal time it takes for Apple to review apps. No need to worry, the Facebook app just has to wait like everyone else.
Has anyone emailed Steve Jobs about this yet?
In case you haven't noticed, Facebook app developers don't have to wait for approval. If they do harm, then we disable them.
[SARCASM]How DARE Apple make you wait any longer for a FREE app. Facebook should certainly take priority over all the other developers, just because you want it sooner. Maybe you could start a petition to rally the troops, and just try to prove just how "unfair" this is! I mean, with the only other Facebook options being the existing version of the app, or the website with Safari, this is just unbearable, and SO UNFAIR. I'm not sure how we can wait an longer...[/SARCASM]
And this is the only app that takes weeks to get approved, am I right?
Idiot.
No, your not right.
I beta test for the dev who made SimplyTweet. He submitted an update before facebook did (days before I believe). Still hasn't been approved.
That is just one example. There are only 40 reviewers...it takes some time to get apps through the review process.
Idiot.

Nope! But I bet if we complain enough we might get a letter from Phil Schiller..
Maybe they'll get sick of getting such stupid, whiny emails and actually come up with a system that works?Geez I am disappointed too how the update still isn't approved but emailing Jobs about it?![]()
Great post!
Too bad no one is listening at Apple...
This is the only App that I use on a daily basis...this update could not come soon enough...even though it sucks that we wont see Push this side of 2009![]()
yahoo released a statement (and later retracted it) that said they expect facebook to be released before the new version of yahoo chat, even though yahoo chat was submitted before facebook, so yes, they areI'll bet they're intentionally holding it back because of the number of devs using it as a benchmark: 'I submitted my app before FB but it was approved before mine! WTH??!?!' etc ...
