Facebook 3.1

Are you guys getting badges pushed? If I go into Facebook and have notifications but do not check them, when I exit it puts a badge on the icon. But when I get the "You have 1 new message" alert, it doesnt add a badge also.

Nope, they broke the screenshot capability. If you click on the photo icon, screenshots show up black and unable to upload, but normal camera photos upload fine.

I think I read that its because the photo format has changed :confused:

Do you know if there is a work around? Thats rubbish as it stands :(
 
it seems push notifications aren't working at all now (no alerts, no badges, no sounds).

Not really, I have to email it to myself and post using a computer now, or upload via 3rd party photo editing app, like Photogenem, which has a built in facebook uploader.

Very buggy.
 
Seems like my facebook push updates aren't working at all anymore. I don't get anything. Also i noticed that today the AP news push update didn't vibrate. It's like the facebook push update bug has infected my other push updates. This happen to anyone else?

my other push is working fine, Facebook I'm getting nothing, no badges or pop ups. They are really ******** the bed with this update

Yes. I haven't had it affect other apps or seen other apps affected (at least the ESPN app is still working) but the FB alerts have stopped completely. They were working before.
 
OK... so other than the Push Notifications (which would be nice, but not worth it if it's going to screw up my contacts) and Contact Syncing, does 3.1/3.1.1 add any must-upgrade functionality? So far, I'm waiting.
 
Yea my updates stopped today as well. I also was not getting sounds either, just the pop-up. The app won't load now but crashes 100% of the time. I'm trying to reinstall now.:(
 
I received a private message and got an alert for that. But I am not getting alerts for anything else, even the events I have enabled in the alert settings.
 
This morning I'm having problems with it not wanting to post photos in my iPhone gallery that were "borrowed" from the web. I found a photo in a Google search, saved it and then tried to load it on my wall through the app. When I select the photo from my gallery it just shows up a black page.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Same here, screenshots and pics saved from the web. Also no push working. Hopefully that means they're looking into/fixing the push sound issue and had to shut it down for that. As for the pics, I guess we're gonna have to wait for the next update.
 
On my set sound is not working at all, notification sometimes or not i am not really sure and I only see version 3.1 not 3.11 as stated on the app store.

Yes, only photos from the actual camera app is posting currently. Screen shots are not right now.

I have also deleted and reinstalled the app and nothing changed.

I did get an alert out of the blue yesterday, but nothing since.
 
i have also noticed that the timestamps for messages in the inbox are wrong also.

for example i got a new message at 11:03pm and the timestamp in fb app showed it at 3:03pm

That's been doing that for a long time.
