Ok I went through this thread and no doubt missed alot of people, but the list below is who I see that has ordered in March and has not had their status changed from Not Shipped Yet to Prepared for shipping or Shipped. I only listed people I think are located in the USA. So if you are in the list and not from USA, let us know. ATI and Nvidia have, on occassion, been able to get performance improvements of 20-30% or more in some applications or games with driver rewrites.
Mine has switched to prepared to ship. I wish that it would update the ship date and arrival date. It still says ships 4/22, arrives 4/23.

I ordered Mar 3 then changed keyboard and MM on Mar 10 to wireless
Mine shows shipping April 21 with delivery April 27.
I have phoned them 4 times and e-mailed once to inquire - always politely and still it shows Not yet shipped.
I am not too impressed with Apple at this point.
Same here -- just got my shipment notice! Went from "prepared" to "shipped" in one day. Should be here before 3:00 Monday (4/20), two days before I was expecting it. And I have to work that night... *grumble*

my imac arrived today!
the computer is beautiful and the display is amazing, but i'm a bit disappointed that it crashed already 2-3 times in one day... (frozen screen and last sound repeating in loop), it never happened with my macbook!
I'm afraid it can be some hw problem... what do you think?

There's multiple threads about the problem in this forum, pretty hard to miss.
i think its a problem with the 10.5.6 driver for the ati card. wait for 10.5.7 and see what happens
Should Apple expect us to turn it off, sit it in the corner collecting dust for weeks/months until 10.5.7 releases?

I'm really disappointed.
I waited months for the hardware update, 1 month for the machine and now i have to wait again for the software update?
It crashed 5 times 'till now, 5 times in a day, with Safari, Firefox, iTunes. What do you suggest? Just wait for the update? Reinstall OSX? Call the apple support?

You guys are lucky, I am in California and I still wont get mine till Tuesday the 21st. POS FedEX, no reason they should take an extra day to deliver it. I ordered two day delivery, and its taking them 3, because last I checked FedEX works Saturday.

I think they should have gave us all who preordered Saturday Delivery. But we know that would never happen.
Wait a minute you said you got a letter from Apple stating that it will be shipped by the 24th right? Now you say it shipped today? Is that what I read? and you are getting it the 20th?
I just got a letter too from Apple stating that same thing that it will ship by the 24th, but I looked at my status and it is no change from ship in 4-6 business day Del on 23-27. Wonder if mine could ship early as well? Did you have any pre-installed software or / and Num keyboard? Just curious.

Why don't you call apple and see what they say. They may be able to help you.
I received my iMac today, despite the apartment office's best efforts. (They closed early and "overlooked" my box when they delivered out all the packages they had sitting around). Luckily I caught someone before they all went home for the day -- they didn't want to give me my package, seeing as it was after their closing time, that is until I pointed out that they were supposed to have delivered the package up to my apartment in the first place.
Anyway, it's a beautiful thing. No freezes so far, let's hope it stays that way. I'm loading stuff up on it as we speak.

Just got an update, my mac was shipped today! "Shipped on: Apr 17, 2009 via FED EX GROUND "!!

You are lucky, I just checked mine and it is still no change still says 23-27 delivery. It is nearly 7:30 pm so I doubt it will change anymore until sometime next week now. I do have Bento pre-installed and a num KB so that may delay mine I guess. Oh well.
