If you are not located in the USA your name was not put on this list. Reason: I think there is more delay in the USA than anywhere else.

Thats what I figured... only reason why I'd even want to order early like that is because of the current delay with the 4850. Waiting til Friday means I'll have to wait even longer to receive it :(

Well hopefully by Friday they will be caught up for the most part and you wont have to wait too long at all.

My Pleasure. I thought it would be easier to view who were getting theirs and when and how long it took to make things interesting. I think it did help us get through all this. :D
 
Well at least there will be a whole bunch of new data points for the "my iMac froze up" threads tomorrow with all the 4/21 deliveries! :p

i just went and picked up my imac... its sitting beside me well i am working for the rest of the day lol... i couldnt wait till after work to go get it so i went at lunch time lol.... i had to make sure it was really the right one this time around! and it was!!!!... also got the printer for free... and some usb thing to transfer over my pictures and music and a good deal on the applecare... cant wait to go home and set it up!!!
 
Mine arrived a couple of hours ago. No crashes so far. Mine was assembled in California according to the sticker on the box.
 
just ordered mine!!! finally.. hopefully the crashing will be resolved by the time i get it. this will be my first mac ever!! very excited!!!:D
 
hey i got mine set up been on it transfered my music and pics since 5:30 today hasnt crashed yet!!! its beautiful... perfect in every way i couldnt be happier!!!!!!!!!!! now if only i could remember how to download music i would be in my glory lol...

I am transferring my stuff from my mini as we speak. So far so good. No crashing. Will keep you guys informed. Love it so far!!! It is a beautiful machine. Those guys that cancelled are really missing out!!!

What are you basing this rumor off of? Someone was contacted today to send their crashing iMac back to an engineer in Cupertino since they had not even heard of the problem.
 
Got mine today been on for about 7 hours with no problems :D *knocks on wood*

I saw that some guys were having problems when using the visualizer in iTunes, i ran it full screen for about an hour and my iMac didn't freeze up, I also had BT and wifi turned on.

So hopefully they got things straightened out now. Good luck to all those getting one, it really is a sweet machine

Not for the transfer. I used my time machine external drive to do the transfer of files. Took about 4 hours I had about 500 GB to transfer. Went fast for that amount I think. My iMac has been on running Safari and playing videos on line, YouTube, etc,. no lockups it is perfect so far. Lets hope it stays that way. I just love it.
 
I'm waiting for mine, fingers tightly crossed...
Ordered April 6th, shipped 04/15: It should be here today, or maybe tomorrow
I should be happy, but all this freezing issues have literally frozen my enthusiasm, too :(
 
Fyi

I order mine (see signature) on March 5th from an Apple authorized reseller in Ontario, Canada I was told yesterday that it should be here Thursday or Friday. :)!!!
