For those who ordered the ATI 4850....

Incredible fast delivery

Order Date: evening of 14th of April 2009 via Mac@Campus
Notification of delivery: today, 20th of April

I'have just recieved a notification that my new iMac with the 4850 BTO will be send out this evening so hopefully I will recive it tomorrow or wednesday.

I think it is quite impressive that I had to wait only 6 days while others of you still haven't recieved their iMac altough u ordered much earlier than me.

life in germany, orderd via reseller (Mac@Campus) not directly from Apple so it is quite more impressive.

Hopefully my iMac doesn't freeze
 
Just got mine a couple hours ago, and it's all good so far! :D

Mine is on re-order and I'm in the UK

Expect delivery 5th May and this is supposedly "Priority 1"
 
I'm baffled, but why is it people who ordered on say April 1st read that it will ship in 4-6 business days, but it won't get delivered til.................................................................................. april 23-april 28?

april 1 + 6 days = april 7
april 23 - april 7 = 16 days

it should say ships in 16 days, not 6 days!
 
Well, mine is prepared for shipment but still says delivers April 24-27th even though I was upgraded to next day shipping, which should put it here tomorrow.

That 4-6 Business days shipment was in effect on 4/16 or 4/17 whatever it was. Not from April 1st. That is why it took so long. The 23rd was the original ship date estimate.

The notice won't tell you, but you can call 1800gofedex, give them your tracking number, and they'll tell you where your package will be stored.

you might have to travel a city over, a 40 minute round trip could be worth the night ;P

Really? Is there a problem with the card? Just thought I would ask. However they usually email you and tell you that there is a problem with the card but that will hold up your order. If not wonder why they have you in Limbo status? Maybe it will ship later tonight.

Since they don't charge your CC until the iMac ships, would I be able to place my order today even if the funds wont be fully available until Friday?

Definitely no problem with the card. I got no email or anything about it either. Usually when something happens with the card my credit card company will call me, and tell me and put a lock on the account. There hasn't been any activity at all. How long after they charged your card did it ship?
