"Mark Read" buttons are back. On desktop/Mac, they appear on hover. On iOS, they appear always.

@AlliFlowers see if it works correctly for you.

I'm really digging this feature and find myself using it regularly when I am in my Unread Watched Threads page.

I've just noticed that on threads that I'm looking at today, even ones that I've never read, that down in the reply section under my name it says "thread starter".

Including this one.

This happened to me also this evening.

As an aside, I have also noticed that the forum is brutally slow tonight as well, and keeps hanging - especially when alerts come in - and then crashing.

Actually, this evening, sometimes I have found the only way to actually succeed in posting, or opening a thread to read it, was to switch off my internet and seek to click on MR when I re-connected online.

Actually, just now, on this very thread, in the box where I am composing a reply, under my nom de plume and above my avatar is the green script announcing that I am the 'thread starter', just where one would expect to find it if I was, in reality, the thread starter.
