What a shame... look what has become of this thread...

I've followed this story from the beginning and I know this thread was useful to so many people, but I have to say that the last three pages of posts have been complete and utter nonsense. Useless to anyone who stumbles upon this. This has become a soap opera of egos and attitudes.

Let's put thing back in perspective, get the thread back on track. Can we get a mod in here to clean up some of the useless accusatory posts?

Now, lets get back to tracking this criminals moves and spot his new websites as he launches them.

The mods have been doing a good job with this... It's been a few people (or maybe 1 w/ multiple sn's) & at least 1 has been banned... It's a fine line the mods have to walk & I think they're handling this latest series of attacks on not only the members of this forum, but this thread itself, as well as can possibly be expected...

Post #362 contains a link to a satellite image of 5500 Hovander Rd in Ferndale, WA.

After making some calls, I was able to find out that 5500 Hovander Rd does exist, however #4 5500 Hovander Rd probably does not exist.

There are 2 buildings at the address. One is empty, but was recently used by Samuels Furniture. Samuels is a local store in Ferndale, WA. The other building is shared by International Vision Direct and Chuckanut Cheesecake. This information is from the store manager at Samuels.

good call - this has been the pattern from the beginning. the address in vancouver for the original macwhiz was on a valid street name, but the street ends before reaching the number on the address. (if i recall correctly, a local vancouver person mentioned how the number on the street of macwhiz would be in the pacific ocean if you extend the street appropriately.)

Being a retailer that was unjustly accused, I wouldn't mind the mods cleaning the last couple pages up a little :)

as an update, bluefeatherfl still hasn't read my PM.

Good suggestion, may I recommend going through the posts starting at #363 onwards…

This thread should not become a place where false accusations abound; it could be used as a weapon to harm legitimate businesses. I wouldn't delete bluefeatherfl's post out of hand, but the post is looking more like a disgruntled customer, or a troll (albeit a very specific attack). Digital_Gary has posted to take steps in correcting this problem (if one truly exists) now the onus is on bluefeatherfl's to provide information that could resolve the problem. They don’t have to post the details here, but provide us with some indication that he/she is has had the matter dealt with and the outcome would be appreciated by all parties.

Oh one more thing...

The problem is he/she isn't a customer and has not ever dealt with us. No-one in the organization made any sort of deal receiving a bank wire as payment. Even if they placed an order on our website, bank wire is not an option for payment.

He/she has not even read the PM I sent asking for more information. Since he/she hasn't replied to my PM or checked back here and replied, I believe they had some ulterior motives when they made the claim. If they were really cheated out of $4000.00 I am pretty sure they would be checking this site for any updates in hopes of getting their money back. I know I would be ;)

let's concentrate on finding these guys. I was told to stop accusing and pointing fingers, which I have done. Now everyone else seems to have an opinion and and that's OK because you are regulars to this board? I guess the rules don't apply to you. I will give timsq the benefit of the doubt while paladin produces the evidence he claims he has (quickly loosing faith) until then I will stay neutral.

Has anyone found other sites run by Dennis. Any supporting documents or details will help the authorities, so please let the information flow between us.

Has anyone stop by the DPIMAC store in Toronto? I have compiled a small list of 3 to 4 web sites that I think look similar to the layout that Dennis uses. I will be calling them over the w/e and looking up the whois is info before posting anything here.

Again, has anyone communicated with svner? would like to have that site updated if possible (willing to pay).

Thanx

I don't know what else I can do. I hate to post a link to another board but it is the only other thing I can do so that people can verify who we are.

Do a search for Digital_Gary, dpimac or Digital Prototypes to see we are in fact real.

I have informed my boss and he will be following up with the moderators of this site so hopefully this will get taken care of in a timely manner.

Sure I can. Send me a wire transfer and I'll get it right out :D
Earlier you mentioned in your post that your company does not accept wire transfers. So what's the story here? if you are joking I don't think this is the place to do so.

you have got to be kidding me, it's exactly the same  some people have no imagination
Edit: even the same horrible picture of the powerbook on the front page
Edit 2: the site isnt complete yet. some of the links give me errors, and when i downloaded it it was only 788 KB as opposed to 3 MB
Edit 3 (last one, i promise): the address actually exists this time, and there is a building there. although it doesn't look much like a warehouse
Edit 4 (ok so i lied): heres a pdf file that google turned up describing what really is at that address

It was a joke... He was making light of the fact that he was falsely accused of being a scammer...As a business owner myself I have to commend the way digital gary has handled being wrongfully accused of this on a public forum...jeez, get off the guys back- whether you want to believe it or not, he's a victim of this guy as well- only it's not as easy to quantify his losses... They are potentially as big as everyone elses- in lost revenue- chill...

Just went to the macgurushop.com site there is now only a sentence that says:

"Dear Customer, Mac Guru has gone out of business, all refunds will be issued within the coming week."

Did someone contact his isp? Good work! The site was up for less than a day! I think you guys have him on the run.
