I hate how there is different music on all the different stores. I really dislike the Canadian store. I find it doesn't have nearly as good selection and bad free songs.

I have added the tag [PERM] to tunes that, as far as I can tell, are permanently free, not just free for a week. There are three I've identified so far, including "Never Gone (Album Sampler)" added today.
My primary clues are:
1. Not getting the message "The item you've added to your shopping cart is free for a limited time so download it at your earliest convenience" when iTunes is set to use a shopping cart.
2. The word "Sampler" in the title (not always indicative). If a third iTunes Music Sampler is released, I don't know if the second iTunes Music Sampler will stop being free.
3. Any reason Apple might want to promote a tune, which is probably why "Demon Days" is still free, to promote the Gorillaz [playListId=52656051]videos[/playlistId].

Yes, as far as I can tell. That's two weeks in a row with no Discovery Download. And the so-called "Catch of the Week" is certainly not weekly. Don't we deserve a refund of some kind, or at least an apology? Where's our free stuff???KKKL said:

The Volvo songs are available in the U.S. store so I added the 16 free songs to the U.S. list at the start of this thread. Thanks for spotting the other thread, realityisterror, and thank you KKKL for posting about the The Sounds of New Scandinavia collections.
Note: The previous three Sounds of New Scandinavia volumes can be accessed in the U.S. store via the [Volvo] links but not by their tune links. Volume 4 can be accessed either way.

Just wish other manufacturers would offer us free tunes on a regular basis. As of now we have M-B and Volvo.

(Don't accidentally Add Album on the Volvo songs--they're not free that way! That's made clear, though. So just Add or Buy each song--there's only 4 per album anyway.)
