So i guess the Note 4 pics are on the bottom?
I do like the way the Samsung warms the colors. The colors just pop more.
Really? I have seen iphone6 pics are yellowish and need to be corrected by a software to get a realistic look. when i saw those images i was pretty sure that yellow pics are from iphone6. so which one is correct? too bad if note4 makes yellow pics too.

Haha. I would have said the opposite. Eye of the beholder man. Really both look pretty darn good.

I am gonna go to Best Buy today and take some shots with the 6 plus and the Note 4. See if I can somehow get the shots from the Note4 to somewhere I can save them.

Awesome, that would be cool!

Yeah we did see those colours differently huh! I'm not that experienced with photography though so it might be that my way of seeing these things is backwards from most. :D

Anyway you're right that both are very good. For me personally the most important thing though is fast and reliable autofocus and a fast loading camera app, and for those things the iPhones always seem to be on top. Really hoping that the Note 4 does well in this regard. Actually one thing I wish youtube reviewers would do is something like a "fast draw" test where one goes from screen off and phone in pocket to snapping the shot as fast as possible.

Not sure yet. It did not say which were which. I get the Note 4 soon....

Any news from 3 The-Game? Clove just pushed their date back to 24th and mobile phones direct have added 2-3 week delay... This release is a laughing stock lol. Apple blow Samsung out the stratosphere when it comes to announcing/releasing their products.

Galaxy Note 4

Ok, I took some photos at the very scenic BestBuy to compare the Note 4 with the 6 +. I am going to try to attach some here. Both phones were using the stock camera app in full auto. Auto focus was allowed to engage first before the shot was taken. Here are results.

Note 4

This first example shows how the Note 4 boosts color. Look at the blue of the carpet. The first shot (iPhone 6 +) is actually how the carpet should look.

Apple releases them but there are still droves of folks waiting for the new iphones. I go to a local Apple store a few times a week and folks are turned away because of no inventory and how many weeks has it been now? So what is the difference if the phones are released when many cannot get them anyway? Sounds like a delay to me! :)

Note 4

Here we have a closer up shot of some text. I tried this several times. This was the best I could get with the Note 4. The text kept coming out very grainy/unfocused.

to me it looks like the 6+ is more accurate, but there is more detail in the note 4, especially in things far away like the magnolia section.

Correct. That is what my conclusion is coming to be.

Note 4

One more comparison.

Sadly it's hard to tell that because the images have been resized. But yeah - pretty much what we should expect because of the megapixel differential between the two.

What is important here - people need to remember this - that BOTH are excellent with differences/tradeoffs - but represent fantastic smartphone cameras.

(to those here bickering constantly in threads) ... People need to stop bickering trying to measure 'device penis size' and actually just enjoy these great devices on as per device basis. They all have good points and not so good points, just enjoy the damn things and stop feeling so insecure you need to pee fight in forums.......

Wish I could give you a thumbs up man. Haha. I will try to upload the shots to my public Dropbox so you all can look and compare better there if you want.

Both are good cameras and both do seem to focus quickly. The iPhone still does focus faster than the Note4, but this is nothing new. Basically you just gotta decide what you want more/ works better for you. Both are extremely capable phones. This is why I have had such a hard time deciding. Lol.

I'm more concerned about the speed of launching the camera app and snapping a pic. How is that in regards to the note 4? thanks

Still faster overall on the iPhone 6+. But focus time of the Note 4 is much better than it was on my Note 3 for sure. Big improvement there. I wish I could have videoed it, but BestBuy guys would have really thought I was nuts then. Haha.

So those who have bought the Note 4 or are thinking of buying it, what about the Nexus 6 for you guys? IMO it's a better phablet.

Yeah, it probably won't have phablet features, but stock Android is all I would want. Maybe future Android updates will bring phablet features like multi-window and more.

Add to that easy root, bootloader unlockable, custom roms, factory images, etc.

I find a Nexus phablet more appealing, but the Note 4 would probably still win in the camera and battery areas quite easily I would say.

Battery....camera.....s-pen.......
For me the N4 is pushing the size limit for me. But the N6 at 5.9 is really pushing the limit.

Thats why I would never consider the nexus.

For me, because:
  • up to 1TB storage > 32GB storage
  • camera, camera, camera
  • 5.9" is ridiculous
  • battery

Nope no news... Hoping for a text tomorrow at some point I would hope.

I will be angry if I don't get it Friday

Agree with you wish Samsung handled this as good as Apple.
