I'm having a weird issue. When on WiFi and my phone is idle I don't receive notifications. Is that normal?

Weird !!! Does it do same after a reboot ?if you can't find any sensible answer to it you could try doing a wipe cache partition from recovery (which won't upset your data / content) and see if that fixes it.

That's a strange one ...

Yup, no change.

Do you mean like one of these? I was really intrigued by Plastc, seems like the perfect stop gap while we transition away from mag stripe cards (I hate having to carry so many cards as well) but its launch seems to keep getting pushed back.

Yeah, those are very cool, I'm just unsure where they are in terms of universality and also how they function. I'm going to read up on them again as the entire concept was very enticing. I think what originally turned me off was you could only upload 2 or 3 cards, but this was a couple of years ago.

Rarely used the S-Pen myself on my Note 2 but found it much more useful on the Note 10.1 tablet. I guess I just don't find the smaller display of a phone conducive to stylus use.

So true. It's like comparing a piece of paper to a post-it note. I'm not really a stylus person myself, I prefer typing, but the size of the tablet is incredibly useful for taking notes.

I was having the same issue. I went into wifi, forgot my network, then resigned into it and I've been getting mine ever since faster than my 6+.

I've had this issue with my Nexus 6, extremely annoying. If nothing else works, try unplugging the power from modem and router. After 30 secs or so, plug modem first, let it settle. Then plug router.

Thanks, will try that.

Good good, you guys are deterring me from getting it. Keep it up! Yah that stylus is so useless!

It is nice to have for jotting down notes to yourself. I would not use it instead of my finger though to click and move around, completely detracks from using a smartphone one handed which most want to do as much as possible.

Here's my standby battery today, I took it off the charger then let it sit for almost 5 hrs, lost 6%.

6% lost in 5hrs of idle time is a bit high, no?
Not on android in my expierence, and you also have to take into account I'm in a low coverage area. While not as good as my iPhone which would be around 98%, it's not bad. Plus at around 1% an hour, your looking at almost 100 hours standby.

Question to those who have experience selling devices. Would I have better luck selling a T-mobile variant over a AT&T variant?
