The import price isn't too shabby....... Examining my old 4S and Note 3, might get like 300€ for those two....

I still don't understand why USA devices have to have the device name printed on the back too
Do they not trust users to know what device they have?
Has anyone ever got a contract with an operator based on seeing their logo on the back of someone's phone?

So far impressions.
Battery is doing well as I've been messing with the device and it's certainly an improvement on my edge by a vast amount. I'd get 3-3.5 SOT on my edge.
I'm at 56% battery and at 2hr 55mins SOT on the Note 5.
At 50% 3hr 23mins SOT
I find the extra screen real estate better than the S6 edge but still think the edge is a far prettier phone. I'm actually set to Amoled Photograph mode for colour balance and I'm liking the look.
Camera still excellent but no difference to the edge really as we all know.
Important for me = Ram Managment. Ok whilst its still not as good as my stock devices with 3gb like the Nexus 6, it's more like the peformance of my Motorola x 2014; but importantly it's far better than my edge. It's keeping my main apps in memory much longer and it's far less interfering than the ram management on the edge. Without shadow of doubt there is still work that can be done here but the extra 1gb is helping. It makes it far far less an infuriating intrusion when it does reload.
I'll post some drawing samples when I've played a bit more

Man, I though the Note 4 was very nice looking already but the 5 really is that bit slimmer and smarter. And though I love my 6+ there's no denying that the extra display-to-bezel ratio on the 5 is quite sexy.The triple play

BTW jamezr, if its not too much - I'd love to see a pic with those three really close together and all showing a white page! I hear that the 5 is a bit closer to the iPhone in white tone but I haven't found any good comparison pics yet.

So....early observation so take it with a grain of salt.
Installed the T-Mobile update that allows native video calling or whatever.
I turned on volte and WiFi calling. It's been 6 hours and cell stand by battery use is 1%.
Used to be 15 percent in an hour.
