Time, because it rules EVERYTHING!
I think the biggest thing returning to apple is the difference in the software. Apple do have a better user experience when it comes to smoothness.

Even my S6 edge has times where it doesn't respond like it should be. It's amazing how quick things are

On Samsung you have so many great features but you will notice a difference user experience wise

That's down to the Samsung bloatware though and not Android, will be interesting to see what bloatware they have put on the Note 5.

It'll essentially be the same as the S6 with the addition of S-Pen apps. So technically there will be more ... I don't think anyone will be surprised by that though.

Ok thanks. The main reason I'm looking at an Android phone is because of customisation and the ability to integrate third-party tweaks. Thanks for the heads-up though.
So would you say that the combination of Galaxy S6/Note 5 and iPad Air 2 is good?
Yeah I would say so

Depends if you like the bigger phone

I love my S6 edge but I do miss the larger screen for my phone. However the edge is a lot easier to pocket and I have less reason for a smart watch with a smaller phone.

In fairness I never said it wasn't

Samsung is all I know when it comes to android so I can't speak for the other android and phones.

See I have the opposite experience. I have a consistently better user experience on Android. For me part if the user experience is being able to customize my device. Simple little things like icons wallpapers widgets. Home screens and infinite scoll through Home screens. A great app like Zedge. Zedge will let me add all kinds of wallpapers and ring tones notifications for free. The ease of use is just about one click.

Don't get me wrong there are things the my IP6 plus does better. But user experience is very subjective.

To be honest widgets was a big thing for me do not returning to apple but the widgets in notifications centre isn't too bad and I'm quite happy with them on my iPad

Thanks. I'm mostly leaning towards the Note, as I would like the phone as big as possible, but I'm not sure what the price difference will be. I was hoping £80, but it's quite unpredictable. What do you think?

I think with the sales not being where Samsung expected Witt the S6 I think price could drop. Might make more people have reason to pick Samsung over the new iPhone.

Yeah I heard something saying that Sammy are planning to drop the price on the S6. But you misunderstand me. I'm asking what you think the price difference between the S6 and the Note 5 will be. As I said, I'm hoping about £80, in which case I would go for it, but I'm not sure if I would if it was like £160. What do you think?

I think they'll drop the S6 & S6 Edge by around £70 / €100 per model / sku

Then the Note 5 will take the S6 price scale as it is currently and the S6 Edge + will fill in price scale the S6 edge is current.

So yes £70/80 difference.

We won't know till release of course. Not long to find out now.

I think it's ended up being only £30-40 which is barely worth the effort, in my opinion.

The S6 Edge Plus pricing has already been confirmed by insiders, the starting price is 800 Euros for the 32GB model"

http://www.sammobile.com/2015/07/30/galaxy-s6-edge-price-confirmed/

It's going to be a pricey handset, the Note 5 price has yet to be properly leaked though but at least we can assume it'll be cheaper.

So it is basically replacing the previous S6 edge pricing model.

Expect the Note 5 to replace the S6 pricing (start at maybe €700)

Oh and I was right it looks like €100 coming off the edge price here to €749

Our insiders have confirmed to us that the Galaxy S6 edge+ price starts from 799,99 euro for the 32GB model, that’s close to $880 as per the prevailing rate. Since its launch the Galaxy S6 edge’s retail price has been 849,99 euro and Samsung is not going to be sell it for more than what it’s asking for the new variant which is why the price will be cut. Samsung has already confirmed today that it’s going to reduce prices of both the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge to maintain sales momentum. It’s possible that the Galaxy S6 edge might be discounted by 100 euro in order to make space for the Galaxy S6 edge+. The handset will go on sale starting August 21.

So as I understand it, a 32GB Note 5 would likely be £559. That's bearable. I think I'll go for it.

Hopefully that's what will happen (most likely) ...

However there is the other possibility it will retail for same price as the S6 Edge + as it does have basically same internals but also includes the spen ...

But I still think it will be cheaper than the Edge + ...

That won't happen though as they have different pricing models for the Galaxy and Galaxy Edge. They will do the same with the Note and Edge Plus, I have a feeling those curved displays cost a fair bit to make.

My issue with that is I am forced to have everything on one screen. I don't have my Android widgets all on one screen. I have them where they are the most use for me. I have a screen for all my sports info. I have one for my social media information and so forth. But on Android (IMHO) widgets are more useful as I can put them where they make the most sense with my use cases and how I want the information displayed.

I'm not saying widgets are better on apple but the job they have done In the notification center is rather good.

I thought I would really miss the widgets on android but so far it's not the issue I thought
