There is a bit more grain in the rear of the image on the Nexus 6 - where the tomato juice / ketchup bottle is.

Then the Note 5 has over exposed area in back but generally more balanced and noticeably less grain, but its hard to compare when it's not same picture subject.

I assume it will be usual recipe of minced pork / scallions / ginger etc? I love Shanghai dumplings. :)

Very perceptive eye, I commend you and jealous of.

I would try that based on that description, looks gross though

What makes it gross, curious here? Is it because of the opening where they insert the soup into or you're not use to seeing something like that? Most Shanghai Dumplings don't have that opening.

It's really good and i would suggest you try them if you ever get the chance, just take it slow because the soup can burn your mouth if you're not prepared or if the soup is way too hot.

Holy crap, yesterday I did a speed test in a low coverage area a got decent results, so today I was in a high coverage area and decided to do the same and wow, never gotten results this fast before. My previous high was around 40mbs. Not sure if it's the Note or at&t, but damn.

The upcoming Hauwei Nexus is supposed to be very similar in size and actual design to the Note 5.

This new Nexus will have a 5.7" screen the same as the Note 5. It will have a metal body like the iPhone 6 / One M8. It will have the rounded edges like the Note 5. And rumors say it will have a large 3400mAh battery.

Will officially be announced in October, and will be running stock Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

It will probably be too thick though.

It's really all personal preference. I left windows because the hardware was simply lacking. Give me a Note 5 running Windows 10 and I'll give it a shot again. But I really enjoy androids freedom to customize. Some feel Windows runs incredibly smooth (even smother than its.) I agree it's smooth, but I don't feel Android on my Note 4 is any worse.

You may get your wish come true. The Cityman phone is supposed to be Microsoft surface phone, the specs are on par with the Note 5, it's supposed to have support for the surface stylus, and run windows 10 along with continuum. IMO it's going to absolutely trounce anything else out there. Of course it won't achieve any sales victories, but I think it will put them back on the map. When that phone comes out I'll likely ditch android and apple as I did when the surface pro came out.

LOL. Are you serious ? Too think for what ? I'd take a slightly thicker phone with better battery life, over a wafer thin phone with average mediocre battery.

Hit the gym man :). Stop warring little boy skinny jeans.

This phone has me very curiously interested.

So, I asked this yesterday but never got a response; can I easily swap my att Sim to my t-mobile device without any hiccups? I'd like to see how an att sim works with a t-mobile device.

This was me yesterday, lol.

Just got home...gorgeous ****ing device... I already don't wanna hold my Note 4 anymore!!

Ended up buying two..yup! Gotta keep the fiancée happy! ;):p

Really glad the stores are stocking the 64GBs too instead of just the usual base models.

if your device is unlocked, just swap the sim. I do that all the time with my Nexus 6 (Tmobile to ATT and vice versa)

Think you both need to take your own advice

Think this post is laughable

Pointing out a legitimate flaw is not being negative. ..it's pointing out a device's fault. How many here have said the note 5 isn't a great device?

Many have said it's a joke what the software still is
some of what you said made sense. Talking about a flaw is one thing......but bringing up probably dozens of times in every thread is abit overkill. It seems to be a "i told you so" Or an "i predicted this" thing for some. Then some are just here because they do not like Samsung and just pretend to be interested so they can inject something negative.
The people that have the phone have said its a great performer. Great battery life even though most said here it would not get great battery life. The same are complaining about app refreshes on a phone they don't even own!!!!

And I thank you for it.
I think other phones will have similar results, or at least better than TW.
From what I've read on some forums, those who are complaining about this are mostly people who compared Note 5 to other Flagship android phones through videos. And they do have a valid point.

I have one question for you who already own Note 5 : does the current app refreshing methods really bothering you on your daily usage?

No, it doesn't bother me, it can be annoying but it is what it is. My Nexus 6 has the app refresh bug and my Note 4 had it when I updated to lollipop so I'm use to it by now.

Regardless of certain flaws this is still the best phone I've had so far and we'll worth it.

The phone is out. At this point I think one should but the phone and post a legit review here, or move on. We understand if you choose to not buy this phone, and it's your choice.

I absolutely love this phone so far, but I am not zealously defending it against all the naysayers.

I'd take a sleek thin phone with PLENTY of battery life to get me through a long day with heavy use, and fit in my pocket without making me look like I'm smuggling gold bars into the country. Add to that incredible charging options, 50% charge in 30 minutes (I think the new gen is even better than that) and ultrapower mode and I always wonder just where you guys take your phones where there are no power plugs, Antarctica?

It's 2015 man, lol, get with the times. The iPhone 6s has phenomenal battery life. From recent reviews the Note 5 and Edge 6+ are getting great reviews for battery life. Those are about the thinnest flagship phones out there. Sorry, 11mm just doesn't do it for me anymore, especially with battery life and options improving more rapidly than the phones themselves.

Ahh skinny jeans, the flugliest fashion I've ever seen, but then hell I grew up in the 80s and that entire decade was a fashion faux pas. I'm also in the gym almost every day with my thin phone, hehe.

I agree. The thinness and reduced bezels are what make these large phone manageable, not just in the pockets but in the hands. I do think we're getting close though to where your not really gaining much by making it thinner. I think 5-6mm is that point.

Yah it seems there is a limit. The s6 edge plus feels almost too thin, but I think it's the product of its curved screen. I think they could go thinner even than the edge + but they need to keep some kind of a frame around it for grip where the edge + really has very little area to grip.

Anyhow these are just stepping stones to foldable screens.
