I don't know if the stylus thing bothers me so much. I guess cause I'm pretty careful with my gadgets.

Nonetheless, it's a flaw that should have been thought through when testing the device.

The only thing to watch out for would be someone else using the device who isn't familiar with the S Pen. Whether it's intentional (letting a friend play with it) or accidental (kids getting hold of it).

Sounds dumb, but I've actually had someone try to put the pen in backwards after I let them use my Note 4. They hadn't used a Note before, but it still seems like it should be obvious which way the pen goes...

So I put on a Spigen Case for my Note 5 and quickly took it off. Maybe it's because the type of case I got but it felt like i was holding my Nexus 6 again. I just love the feel of the phone naked.
I'm using a thin tpu case until my skin arrives. No case feels so much better though.

There is no way I go on using this Note 5 naked. I have a Ringke clear case on it now until my UAG case gets here on Thursday. Thats my normal setup on any device I use, UAG with tempered glass.

While at work I use a case, but outside of work all my phone's go naked. This things are tougher than people give them credit for, I once dropped my iPhone 5s from about 15 ft onto hard tile and was fine, the corner and frame bent which popped the screen slightly from the side, but I straitened and pushed the screen back in and it was fine. And even my S6 earlier in the year I dropped twice from about 5ft high onto concrete both timea, and all it got was some scuff marks on the metal rim that I just sanded down and were hardly noticeable.

Yeah see I don't even want scuffs on my device, I like to keep mine in pristine condition, I want zero dings and scrapes. My buddy just dropped his Note 5 and already shattered the back panel....

Cant believe no one is posting pics taken with it

Been offered a brand new 32gb Gold Note 5 for €675 ...

I'm thinking as it's not released in Europe it may hold its resale value longer than my S6 Edge.

Do I cash in my Edge now whilst it's still worth 55/60% of what I paid and buy the Note 5 and hope it's limited availability will make it more desirable and sellable until new phones around Easter ?

Or do I hold onto my Edge and swallow more loss € wise in the next 5-6 or so months ?

Thoughts ??

I know my one issue isn't going to be fully resolved going to the Note 5, but I what I'm reading regarding DPI scaling being adjusted so more content can be seen on screen sounds really needed. I've noticed for ages apps on Android devices I have don't display as much content as my iPhone 6Plus such as Tapatalk and NewsStand. Anyone with the Note 5 able to confirm that this new dpi scaler does indeed allow similar amount of content now to be displayed?

I'm also missing Corel painter & ArtRage ...

Also - come on you guys. No photos of your devices? No S-Pen samples of it being put to creative uses? No photos of cases or protectors you have decided to use? The information is hardly flowing out of you that have and are 'passionate' about it... Share this info with us otherwise the only thing we have to go on is the scandal gates and the latest one 'muppet gate'....

Hmm imagine being the only one around you with one.

Very tempting. I would do it for that price. Who's offering that? Think it's your lucky day.

I'd do it. 675 Euro is pretty much the exact cost of a new regular 32GB S6 Edge so that's quite the offer you have there.

PS: Make sure it's not a fake. The price is really low. I've seen the Note 5 being offered here for about €750,- upwards.

EGlobalCentral ... It's €688 for the N920I but they had sent me a voucher for €15 off my next purchase ... So just under €675 if I order and I'd have it by next week.

I'm thinking just to do it ... Whilst Euro is doing a little better and whilst I have the voucher active ...

s6 edge price is going down

Was £330 a month ago now £300 on the site I use

I say go for it

If you really want the phone go for it, that price is what some in Australia are paying to import from HK for the 64gb from T-Dimension.com. We are only getting the 32Gb here and its $1,099 from Samsung Australia on pre order available 4th September, although comes with a wireless charger.
As you have found out if you wait Samsung phones drop in price rapidly, the S6 64 gb new price has dropped $400 here. Our dollar is crap so everything is going up here by the day. Heck i just paid $3147 with a 10% discount for a 15" 16/512 MBPr, i can get another 10% tax back so that helps.
We had a 15% increase in Apple products in May but our dollar has tanked another 8% since then so who knows what the 6S will cost. The note 5 could be a good buy at the moment lol.

Ordered .... Gold 32gb. They didn't have 64gb available. Since I have over 44gb left on my S6 edge after apps and music installed, 32 should be ok ...

If I don't like it there's someone selling them on our classified service website for €750 and people are ordering - so I won't lose money on it anyway.

Just do it. You know you'll only have it a couple of months then something new and shiny will come along to tempt you away so you won't lose much. ;)
