Genres - Rock, Reggae, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Indian (hindi/punjabi/remix/club/classics) and occasionally Medieval and Orchestral

The Jaybird X are awesome! Couldn't recommend them enough. I have the first version, not the 2nd version they just released.

I use'em with Comply foam tips [ from Amazon ] and it's the perfect combo!

I know, it's funny how it's taken very seriously that this is a major issue and design flaw. Would've loved to see the comments thread on this if they were open.

They should start complaining that the USB connector breaks if you put it in the wrong way as well. I can't take this S-Pen issue seriously nor can I take the people who moan about this issue seriously, it's nearly common sense at this point.

That's only true if you're holding the phone on the bottom. I hold a phone on the middle, and let me tell you, touching the top-left corner is WAY easier than the bottom right.

I'll be honest, it is definitely easier to do than you would think. I have actually thought to myself, "Did I just put that in wrong?" The design feels a lot different than s-pens in the past, and I can see people easily doing this.

I thought basically the past notes design didn't allow for backward pen installation?

I thought that too .... Maybe these users having this s-pen issue are used to jamming very small things in tight holes the wrong way ? ...

I haven't tried the pen yet, too much other stuff keeping me amused.

I'll save it for a rainy day, oh wait, that may take awhile since it doesn't really happen and it may end up snowing first. Lawn is burnt out as ever.

Curse you ;) !!!! And yet they wouldn't release it Europe because a focus group said we wouldn't use the pen !!!


I actually have done some great artwork in the past using the S-Pen on previous Note devices. There are some really excellent art applications on Android.
 
What colours did people get ? What storage capacity ? Anybody get the funky slate colour ? (is it even available) Share some photos of your devices ... It's the closest some of us will get ...

There are people trying to do this with the Note 5, for varying reasons. There were people who tried to bend their iPhone 6. People were likely trying to make their antennae fail with the iPhone 4 sometimes to see if it was real. Human beings are not the brightest.

Well, I just had a wonderful discussion with Rene Ritchie on Twitter. This is an issue that he feels strongly about, being an Apple guy and all.
 
So I put on a Spigen Case for my Note 5 and quickly took it off. Maybe it's because the type of case I got but it felt like i was holding my Nexus 6 again. I just love the feel of the phone naked.

The s-pen could be a problem with kids sticking it in upside down, kids love to draw with the pen if they get a hold of your phone. What is the advantage of the curved glass back, a case is a must so whats the point?
No SD card is mind-blowing especially as their is only 32gb releasing in Australia at a hefty $1,099.
The note series is the only Samsung phone that hold value here, the cheapest note 4 now is around $680 on sale now or still around the $850 retail.
S6 64Gb has dropped around $400 already.
 
I don't know if the stylus thing bothers me so much. I guess cause I'm pretty careful with my gadgets.

Nonetheless, it's a flaw that should have been thought through when testing the device.

Hopefully, and I believe they will, Samsung comes to realize how dumb that decision was and releases it in Europe sooner than later.

Maybe the group thought that FOCUS meant For Only Customers in the US?
