Oh, fwiw I did finally give the S pen a sniff. It just smells like plastic to me. Lol. My inlaws did have an RCA camcorder that inexplicably one day started smelling like fish. (Get your minds off that track.) It had been stored in the same kind of gear bag I used for my camcorder. They rarely used it and one day I went to borrow it and it smelled weird. Sometimes plasticizers do get funky--this happened to my kids' Barbie dolls too, so I don't doubt somebody ended up with a weird smelling S pen

Could anyone with the AT&T version answer a few questions?

- is Samsung Cloud available?
- are there non-deletable bookmarks in the Samsung browser
- any other carrier installed b.s. Other than the standard AT&T bloat ware apps?

I can live with the bloatware apps that Verizon installs since we can disable and hide them and the phone has 64gb. But I can't deal with them blocking functions like the Samsung cloud or ram/device management options like Verizon has.

Anyone tried if Samsung cloud restores app data like on iPhones? Like game data.
Great question! I haven't tried it yet......
[doublepost=1471703782][/doublepost]I would love to get this except it is an AT&T exclusive right now....

Samsung Connect Auto Turns Your Car Into a Wi-Fi Hotspot

The device also pairs with the Samsung Connect Auto smartphone app, which is available for iOS and Android, letting you track your car's location and receive maintenance notifications on your phone. It will alert you through the app when your battery or tire pressure is running low, for instance, and even "decodes engine light indicators to communicate vehicle issues," Penrose wrote.

Probably the most cutthroat, pro-Samsung, article I've read in quite a while. And as a die-hard fan of both manufacturers, I 100% agree with everything stated in the article. The iOS/Android gap is gone, the Note 7 surpasses the 6S Plus (and upcoming 7 Plus) in nearly every regard, and Samsung rightfully deserves to charge the same amount for it.

Let us know if it's any good!
I picked up the Gear VR at Verizon yesterday. Haven't played with it much but from the time I spent with it is was pretty cool. Graphics were really low res but I played s poker game and I was basically sitting at a virtual table. Really exciting technology and can't wait to see future iterations

Ok I'm part of the gang again. Costco Verizon BOGO + $50 in Costco gift cards + waived activation fees + gear fit or memory card for each phone. Now I have to convert my wife over, she's never used an Android phone in her life. Phone is freakin nice!!!

Thats a great offer. Does costco run those offers frequently? I really want to wait until sept before changing to anything

It's great for watching movies. Watching 360 content is only good if downloaded, streaming 360 content is degraded too much. Some streaming 360 apps give you the option to download vs streaming. Gaming is fun, especially Temple Run. Although the touch pad is decent as a control, it's much better with a bluetooth controller. Then you have the concept apps, which most of them are pretty damn good. Downloaded 360 trailers of games and movies are amazing.

Comparing the hardware vs the previous Gear VR..... The new Gear VR is much improved than the previous one. The touch pad is bigger and easier to input. The space is larger, users can most likely wear glasses with this on. Better padding on the face. The port that you connect the phone to is not spring loaded anymore, so it's much easier to put the phone in. The USB-C and Micro adapters are easy to switch, or you can just have no adapter and try another VR software(like Google). You can charge the phone through the headset while playing, but that's only for USB-C.
