Does anyone else S-Pen smell funny? Smells like some type of latex gloves or condom.
Be happy they used a condom before they stuck your S-pen in whatever orifice they did. Can never be too careful.

Good Lord I just realized how what I typed sounds like if I don't specifically say I'm referring to the S-pen. Even then...great I feel like my brain has just been on a Beavis and Butthead marathon.
Samsung finally made a pair of decent headphones. All my headphones are designed for iOS (beats, sennheiser, skull candy) so haven't used them with my edge yet. I've always been disappointed with the headphones that come with Samsung phones as they are uncomfortable and don't sound that good. I've had the ones that came with my edge in their packaging for a few weeks but decided to give them a whirl last night. They are actually pretty good and comfortable. I've ordered a pair of sennheiser headphones for android but I don't mind using the ones in the box until they arrive.

The device is... Nice. Not much different from the s7e, but better in design. I feel the S Pen was slightly better on the Note 5; like mention earlier, I'm having some difficulty with S Pen recognition on the top edges.
Nonetheless, it's a beautiful design! Just not sure how I feel, yet.

Get the phone and take the S-pen out, put it under his nose and when he wakes up ask him Trojan or Lifesyles?
Coming from mobile safari chrome is so laggy and choppy. Don't think this is specific to the note 7 tho as I've had the same experience with other droid devices phone is a beast so far otherwise
I'm going to fed ex tomorrow morning to get mine, was on a flight heading home from Vegas. Can't wait to see how it is compared to my iPhone and I hope I'm sold before the 14 days is up, I really want to love this phone
$672 visa card after 2 billing cycles. Although I hear Best Buy is doing this AND $200 GC, which I'm a bit bummed I didn't do, but it's all good. You have to keep the lines for 6 months, but that's much better than being shackled to ATT for 2 years with their monthly credit BOGO.
Try using the stock Samsung browser, it's just called "internet", I find it works better than chrome. Plus you can download an adblocker that makes it even faster.
Yeah agree about the AT&T thing. I'm going to check out best buy and Costco tomoorow then. I bought one from Verizon but will just return it. Am I missing something here or ddid Verizon block Samsung cloud? . Can't find it anywhere and they are known for blocking stuff like this to push their own services

Have you installed the Chrome Samsung support library.

I've always used the Samsung browser. I only like chrome on nexus devices for some reason.
I need to work out what smart watch to get to go with my note 7. Moto 360 second gen vs gear s2/S3. I suppose if I get the gear it supports Samsung pay but it's not available here yet and who knows if it will ever come to the UK. Android pay is available in the U.K. but not available on android wear.
I'll wait until IFA though as new watches are coming out.

Installed it and it seems to help a little nut Mayne just a placebo effect. Appreciate the recommendation tho. Also tried the Samsung browser. Much better than chrome in terms of choppiness but still just so laggy compared to safari. I use my browser all the time. Ugh

The rose gold of my iPhone compared to the "coral" frame of the Note 7. The coral is a more subdued version of rose gold. Less pinkish. There is a hint of rose in it
The blue is beautiful. I love all of the Note 7 colors about equally. I just went with blue because it's the one color I haven't had on one of my devices yet.

That Blue is nice, it would be hard for me to put a case on that.
Without a case it attracts fingerprints and there was also sticky residue from either the plastic that had been on it or from something off of one of the screen protector backings. I kept having to wipe the phone down.
I do hate having a case on it. Usually after about 9 months of ownership I relax a little and start using the phones without a case. Especially if I'm passing it along to family members eventually.
I've been playing around with the Iris scanner. It works really well. It reads my eyes faster and faster every time I use it.
I would love to see it used with software like Glimpse Notifications. Maybe in a future software update? So with Glimpse it will turn on the screen with a new notification so you can see what the notification is. Imagine if it was on long enough for the Iris scanner to work. Then we would not have to touch our phones to unlock them.
My phone is right next me on the sofa as I write this......if i got a notification......the screen would turn on with Glimpse Notification at the Iris scanner would let me unlock the phone just by looking at it.

Samsung Pay on the Gear S2 is an utter PIA. You are required to set up a pin, which would normally not be a big deal, as you would think that you would only be required to enter the pin when you want to use Samsung Pay on your watch. But nope! You have to enter the damn pin every...single... time you want to look at a notification, open an app or anything else except look at the time. Complete morons that developed the app.

I've been seriously impressed with the Iris scanner as well. Even in a completely dark room, it is fast. Faster than the fingerprint scanner. I was skeptical, but I'm a believer now!
