Went to Best Buy tonight to try out the note 7. I was really impressed very smooth. Never had a android before always had iOS. Still not sure if I want to change but left there thinking I wanted to buy one. The feel of that phone in your hands is just awesome. It felt like my iPhone 6 but a much larger and better screen. I picked up a 6s plus and it felt heavier and bulky compared to the note 7.

I'm noticing that my Note 7 kinda gets bogged down and starts to lag (keyboard and OS in general) when switching between wifi and cellular. Anyone else notice this?

LOL...that is how the addiction manifests itself at first. Then it is the faster heart rate when talking about new phones and new releases. Then it is the 24/365 addiction to posting on forums dedicated to talking about them! :)

Gotta confess....I'm an addict :)
Yup, soon you end up with a set up like this with 5 extra devices you don't need but can't part with.

BTW amazing how well the new Samsung's go with Apple gear, who would've thought that a couple years ago.

I'm noticing that whenever it needs to load something from the internet it bogs it down and starts to lag, but as soon as it's finished it runs smooth again. Also when it runs smooth, it runs REALLY smooth which makes it a little more noticeable when it does slow down. It's not a deal breaker at all for me since its still feels fast and smooth for the most part, i think it just needs an update is all.

Yup this is what I'm noticing asbwell in addition to my observation. Even if I'm updating an app everything just slows to a crawl anf then back to normal once it's done.

So like.... Im loving the Note 7 so far.

But god damn every time I use an android device I miss the little things that make iOS so elegant compared to it.... Still love the phone though. Its sweet.

I'm missing some of that too. Apple has a well designed system in place for sure. Just so limited unless u stay in the garden and when I do that I find myself wanting to use all of their services, some of which are inferior to the competitions. Really enjoying the Note so far though

Sure, just pay shipping.

$999 paypal gifted, shipped overnight too!
Lol.

One thing I hope this year they can bring the new os update in a timely manner. Last 2 years on a note were hell. This update for Android N is going to be a good one for the notifications.

Has anyone seen any glass screen protectors with full adhesive?
My feeling is the current crop have been compromised by just using adhesive on the edges and sides.
Also, if they made them slightly smaller they would be case friendly.
But full adhesive is a must imo.
So far otterbox seem to have the best glass protectors.
I'm just using the original Samsung covers at rhe moment.
A total wrap heatshrink protector would be cool.

Went into the Samsung store this evening at the Trafford Centre (for America's, think "big mall" ha).

Huh, I was also in the Trafford Centre Samsung store last night though it was about 8pm, I checked out the black Note 7 and man, it looks and feels awesome but I can't justify the £699 when I have an S7 (plus I'm not a big phone guy..). It did surprise me that the black N7 was free to have a look but the Blue N7 had quite a lot of people around it, I didn't get to check it out.

Lol. And me freaking out, cancelling blue to play safe with black.

I actually wish there was a white. I really dig my white S7 and the fact it conceals finger prints.

Oh did you cancel your blue order then?!
I just think it looks real nice with the silvery / coppery trim.

Black looks grubby as soon as you touch it!

The guy I sit next to at work has just ordered one (after my sales pitch...!) and he has gone with blue.

Do you have something like Lookout security app installed. If I recall it's bundled on some carrier phones like Tmobile. You can try disabling it since it's redundant and not as good as built-in Google scanning.

Yeah I did because I saw a blue S6 and I wasn't a fan, even though the Note 7 looks like it could be a different blue, I couldn't see one in person unless I bought answer thought that was chancing it too much. As I have bought myself time now with Vodafone I'll probably get the chance to see them in person before I get mine which should be a bit more reassuring.

I am holding off till the iphone7 keynote to compare devices although this new note 7 does look stunning. The biggest issue that worry me though is the scratching as I never use screen protectors so is it as bad as the video reviews say in that regards?

Are you all now having to baby this phone with terrible screen protectors because it will scratch so easily or is it not as bad as what has been said.

I'm not using a screen protector. I might get a flip case for certain occasions. So far no scratches.

Waiting on some feedback. It's a liquid screen protector.

I am not sure I will use one either. I might get a case though.

Same with me. My original shipping estimate was for delivery yesterday but now it's arriving next Wednesday. Still very happy with the turnaround time.
Me too...Honestly I was expecting a couple of months for me to get the SD Card. But mine should be delivered next week as well.

So most of the time, when I take my phone out of my pocket, the always on display is way too dim to see it at all. I turned off auto brightness to see if it would fix it, but it didnt.

Anyone else know whats up?
