Now that phone along with the snap dragon 821 and 6gb of ram would've been a definite pre order for me. As it stands, with the curved screen and snapdragon 820 with 4gb of ram it's a wait and see.
I would love a Exynos processor and 6 gb ram...but snapdragon with 6 gb ram is fine also. If the ram is 4 gb, guess i will wait to upgrade.
The iris scanner looks VERY fast: http://www.sammobile.com/2016/07/21/leaked-video-shows-the-galaxy-note-7s-iris-scanner-in-action/ Although you still have to stupidly press the button then swipe, I never understood that. Although Good Lock eliminates this so hopefully they don't change that.

It's definitely fast (about a second), but you also have to swipe away the notifications. It's hard to see the position the person is holding the phone at, but he might be looking down on it?

Honestly if they brought out a flat and curved note 7 I think I would still favour the edge version. Bring on August 2nd

It looks amazing with no logo, and all blacked out like that. I'm a little bummed the black edge one isn't as black as the screen. They always end up putting some god awful ugly texture or design for some reason. At least they got rid of the awful fake chrome looking accents though.
Yeah, I'm a sucker for a nice 'murdered out' black phone with little else as far as color, logos.
I'm not planning on getting a new iPhone but if they do end up doing that Space Black, that alone might get me to pull the trigger.

There'll be a Samsung logo slapped on front of that Note before it sees the light of day in the US. Samsung doesn't want to get sued again.

But why would you have to swipe the notifications away first? I guess so it doesn't scan your eyes while you're reading your notifications? That's a bit of a conundrum. If I want to use the Iris scanner, I don't want to have to swipe my notifications away first. Why wouldn't I just use a fingerprint then?
And I guess if you don't have any notifications, will it know to immediately scan your eyes? Or would you still have to swipe?

Good call, the video wasn't showing up on my phone, looked on my macbook and was able to view the video, and does indeed look flat. I really hope they make it available. The one thats flat on both sides looks awesome.

Will the Iris scanner unlock be able to be used in conjunction with the finger print scanner? Basically, if I have the Iris scanner set, can I also use my finger to unlock when I'm not facing the phone. I unlock my phone plenty of times while not directly facing it. If it can't, then it's a fail no matter how fast or good it works. If it does work in conjunction, then the big question is ..... will the Iris scanner delay the finger print unlock?
