The thing is its very klutzy for me to unlock my Note 5 with just one hand while holding a squirming infant, who will only get stronger....

If it works for me then I'm all for it.

I tend to wait and see before making absolute statements on why x is better than y and such.

It probably won't be on the Note 6 anyway but if it is, surely it will have to work or Samsung will be reminded about it for years..

So if they do add an iris scanner, it would most likely be just an additional unlocking method. Not really meant to be the main unlocking method as I can't see anything being quicker than fingerprint for most situations. Although an iris scanner would be great fingerprints aren't available. Like in the winter while wearing gloves.

I love windows hello on my SP4, but I wouldn't want it on my phone. Its very fast, but fast enough for a phone. I'd say it has the same accuracy rate as my Note 5's fingerprint sensor, although you have to be positioned just right.

Latest leaks for the Note 6. Model numbers have been leaked. Can't wait for this phone....

Nice catch!

I found this amusing though: "For those unaware, having similar model numbers across different markets means Samsung can push out updates considerably faster than before instead of making consumers wait for weeks for their turn."

Does anyone actually believe this?!?!? I'm still waiting for marshmallow on my Note 5.

Oh you and me both! I have been hounding John Legere on twitter about my Note 5 not getting Android 6 yet! I wish Samsung would get sh*t worked out with all carriers so they could push stuff out quicker. Verizon and Sprint Note 5 has had 6 for almost a month now!

I was just wondering how fast do the carriers like Verizon push out android updates. Thanks for the update!

Samsung is pretty bad about pushing big updates like Android 6 out. But some of the blame is on the carriers as well. Combined they both need to do a better job at it!

Honestly carriers carry the can too much. I would blame them completely if it wasn't for the fact that even with unbranded unlocked models you are waiting months and months. Indeed on many occasions in the past I've seen a carrier push out the update before Samsung distorted their unbranded model.

Terribly slow. Verizon and Sprint just released Marshmallow for the Note 5, and AT&T and Tmobile have not and haven't even announced anything.
I was thinking that for a flap ship phone like. The updates would be sent out very quickly. Well , That's unfortunate.

32 GB of storage is a huge fail. Pass. Even with gimped microSD.
Why is 32GB a huge fail? It also has a SD Card slot (up to 200GB) for expandable storage. Apps can be installed and moved to external storage. Same can be done with music video and pictures. I don't see the issue myself.

Looks awesome, but I really hope for a 64gb model.

Really glad they're sticking with the current resolution, no need for a performance and battery hit for 4k just yet. And if it's RGB like has been speculated, it should look phenomenal.

I don't like the adaptive storage because it formats the card, so everything has to be transfered on to the phone either through wifi or USB. Then I can't just remove the card and transfer things off with my pc, again have to use wifi or USB. And on top of that, I don't want the performance hit of putting my apps on there.

I dont think its a huge fail, i could get by with 32gb, but i really prefer 64gb so i can have all my apps.

I really like the set up now, I put my card in my mac, put whatever movies, music, picture I want on there and stick it back in the phone. And then after I take a bunch of pics I remove it, stick it in my mac and transfer everything to iphoto/icloud and then put it back. It works great like this and there is no performance hit on my apps. Just need more built in storage.

I hope 32gb isn't the only option. And hope it's released with N.

Was hoping for a bigger battery though.

Interesting, I see it's supposedly a couple of mm narrower but with a slightly larger screen, I wonder if that means it will edge to edge or curved.

I am not sure adaptive storage is ready for prime time yet myself. Too many variables like SD card speeds and swapping sd cards. Those two things can really impact the user experience.
I had hoped they would offer 32 and 64GB options but we will see if they offer that later after initial release.

I do almost the same process except I use Dropbox. I have all my pictures automatically uploaded to dropbox. Then i have the DB client on my MBP and iMac and the DB app on all my phones and iPad so i have access to all my pictures without having to take my sd card out. I can delete them on my phone after that.

I hope Samsung and Google can get it worked out to get N installed on the N6

not a fan of having to use SD for apps. It's less stable and not where near as fast as internal storage.
And with 32 GB we'd be lucky to have 15 gbs free right out of the box. I just just prefer using internal storage for core things, and SD for strictly media....pics, music...

Time will tell, really hope a 64 GB version is released. I like the direction Samsung is going.
