Kinda panicking that I won't get my free VR for my sim free model from CPW :| I made sure with the guy multiple times I'd get one but knowing my luck ��

The price of phones in general is ridiculous. I know from past experience if I wait till Christmas or the new year I'll be able to pick up a new sealed box Note 7 for €550, given it launches here at €899 that is a big saving for just over 12 weeks patience.

I have decided this year I have had enough of paying out big money for day 1 launch of any phone only to suffer the greatest depreciation in value over those initial first weeks. Whereas if i hold back the price I pay in the end will be significantly reduced and the depreciation likewise.

Got a 15% Samsung Store Voucher and you also get 3% when you login with your Samsung Account.
So at the end i payed 700€ for a black Note 7 including Gear VR and a Multi-Bag. :cool::D

People discussing the imessage vs other messaging services. If your family / friends won't consider downloading WhatsApp / fb messenger etc to continue messaging your with media etc then it's their loss.

I have a friend who when I said I was going to try android stated, without me saying that he should use a different app with me, 'well the people who message you now will keep messaging you the way they have' knowing full well I knew he was talking about him.

Even though it saddens me he is closed minded about even trying WhatsApp or similar with someone whom he messages all day I can't take it personally and he will just now miss out on photos, videos and gifs.

Yeah likewise

I'm paying like 60 pounds more going through Samsung but I wanted it early and wanted free VR. Seems. You get a free case as well.

So, my delivery date shows for today but the status says "order processed: ready for UPS."

I guess that means there's a long I won't receive it today?

I'm still very very tempted by this but I'm not sure how I would buy it if I decided to take the plunge. As in, sim free, or contract.
CPW are doing it for £699 sim free which is pretty steep, but for the on board memory it doesn't seem too bad compared to Apple's pricing.

Part of me wants to hold out for the iPhone 7, so I can then make a better informed decision, but I haven't used an iPhone for a good 8+ months now and have no want to return to it at the moment. I know that may change come the 7 launch, (damn their advertising!) but when it comes down to it I'm enjoying being able to use my Android device exactly how it suits me. Not something I get with an iPhone.

The preorder bonuses are decent, but would I even use VR? Probably not after the initial curiosity try out, but then I could just sell it on and recoup some funds for the purchase of the device.

Decisions decisions.

Carphone warehouse are doing it for £699 with silver

The colour I originally wanted. Even though i already ordered the black on Samsung site...

There's no VR though

It's sold out on the Samsung Store now too (pre-order wise) so if you cancel be aware if something goes wrong with CarPhoneWarehouse, you won't be able to pre-order again with Samsung.

Yeah not surprised it's sold out. I like the black butt had eyes set on silver originally. That said God knows when I would get the silver. So will happily stick with the black with a free VR and case. I ordered at 6.09am so good job I was on nights otherwise I would of missed out completely.

I saw that. When I click the care though the page loads and just says it's not available in my region.

I'm in the us at the moment so maybe that's why but I hope it's a useful case and not one I'm going to toss.

Guessing it might be just a normal average flip case maybe. Doubt it will be anything too special. I've already got 3 cases and might get the S view cover but that's it. I always go overboard with cases.

Personally if they drop the headphone jack I'm never going back. Yeah I could live without it but I think it's a down right anti consumer move.

I got a shipping email from TMO along with a UPS tracking number that said it was to be delivered yesterday. But no movement with UPS. The TMO app on my phone says it was shipped so i chatted with a TMO rep last night.
They are clueless about it. The rep didn't not believe me that the emails said it was on the way or that the app said it was shipped. I had to copy and paste the emails in the chat to convince him. He then spouted the official release date is the 19th.
So i guess we will wait and see! :)

Me too lol.

The s view cover is the one I like the most but £40 way too steep.

I bought 2 for my 6S+ and have used them maybe two weeks altogether.

Yeah it's expensive right now on mobile fun.co.uk but I'm thinking it will come down in price when it arrives on Amazon.

I get this, I've seen many on here saying they will be getting note 7 and waiting on the iPhone next year. Headphone jack is big for many people. For me it isn't a major deal but for people who like to charge and listen to music it will be.

I'm new to preordering a Samsung phone. Are the phones delivered by the release date or is there a chance that I would get it after? I suppose it depends on the carrier. Mine is Verizon
