I'll also say the rest of you immediately crapping on any reviews that aren't glowing over a phone none of you have even used yet is supremely silly. The reviews have been pretty good/great. I read anantech, and despite the caterwauling the review came across as fair, and that site uses actual data to back up their statements. Yes, I agree it makes no sense to point out how much the Note costs as a complaint vs not mentioning an iPhone. Then again, you also get world class customer service from Apple for their devices, that costs money. Ask any Motorola buyers over the last couple of years if CS is overrated as a feature. I actually found the flaws to be in line with my own experiences with the GS7E, which makes sense. None of them have said the phone is bad, it seems the closest to a negative is that unless you really need the S-Pen, the phone isn't much different than an Edge thus it may not be worth the premium.

Hysterical whenever people who claim bias and fanboyism immediately defend a phone they don't even own yet. Uh huh.

Whilst i agree with much of your sentiment, I wouldn't bother getting worked up about it to be honest. The fact the poster refused to read reviews that were less than positive whilst at same time 'ranking them ' says enough. Dismissing Lisa in such a fashion as for soccer moms was just another silly throw away comment. Simply add the poster to your ignore list :).

Me too but product refreshes soon means they can attribute it to both $ value and new extraordinary tech.
 
Mine delivers Friday!! I'm in Vegas till Friday night though so I'm gonna call Fed Ex tomorrow and see if I can have them hold it at the destination facility and I can pick it up Saturday.

Trying to decide between doing this thru att (bogo on a note 7 for the wife) or doing the target deal that gets u $300 target gift cards per line with a trade in. Kinda leaning toward target at this point since not sure if I would use the smartwatch

What phones are you trading in? Have you checked to see what AT&T would give you?

Bought a couple of crappy LG rebels for $50 at Best Buy which is eligible for the target trade in so will actually net $250/line in gift cards if I go the target route. If I go the att route I'll just return the lgs

Ok, as long as you can still get the bogo, yeah the target deal seems better. The msrp of the Tab is $300 and the watch is $350, but they also come with contracts and $150 etf. I already had a tablet line that I'm using with my iPad, so signing a 2 contract on that line was no problem. The extra $10 a month for the watch service is a little harder to justify, but worse case scenario I cancel the line and pay the $150 etf, so I would still be getting the watch at a big discount.

I wouldn't say I got worked up, but I felt that last comment was seriously ignorant. Here's a person who devotes soooo much time and detail to her reviews (Lisa) and has probably forgotten more about this tech than that poster will ever know.

LOL. I rang Three Ireland and gave out (complained) at the fact I didn't get my Gear VR last time with the S7 Edge and I wanted to know EXACTLY how many they had been allocated as the website is very deceiving. Turns out they are allocated more this time at 100 units only for the whole network in Ireland (compared to 50 with the S7/S7e). They had only 34 left, and then it was a case of 'what the hell!!!' do I want blue or black ???? :D :D :D

I was doing really well there impulse control wise for 36 hours ......

I'm still holding on just. I don't think I'll last much longer though.

Dang it! I was hoping TMO would send the N7 out early like they have done new phones in the past. But I got shipping notices and UPS tracking numbers but no movement on the package. So it looks like now it will be coming Friday on release day :(

Release date here in Europe isn't till 2nd September officially, so you will still have it before many of us ;)
