Battery life and false touches are my concerns.
It better get as good or better battery life than my S7 edge. It should not have the false touches issue i get on my S7 edge....to borrow a phrase from @MRU...... I don't want to have to do "hand gymnastics" to use the damn thing.

Haha! Yes, very true! A close mate of mine has a S7E, he has a nice Spigeon case (I think its Spigeon, may be wrong, could be BodyGlove), it's wide enough to prevent false touches, I'm looking to get a similar case from Muvit, Case Mate or Spigeon, they never fail me when it comes to well designed cases.
It will last you all day pretty much. Think it's on par with all flagships.

Like anything it's how you use it and the signal you have. With good power saving mode I don't think people will need to worry
Indeed, the Power Saving will come in handy, I personally love the fact that one can adjust BOTH Screen Res and CPU. On those extra long days with back-to-back meetings and heavy traffic, I can see myself dropping it to 1080P.

You keeping them all or selling any?

I'll sell the S7 when the Note 7 comes, ill keep hold of the HTC 10 for it's audio.

Ill likely give the SE to a relative for christmas as they keep calling dibs, and the 6S i'll hold onto until iPhone 8 as 7 doesnt interest me at the moment.
[doublepost=1471451445][/doublepost]Q. So have most of you opted for black then ?

I'm loving being able to change the screen res and having blue light filter like night shift mode will be useful. I like this at night

On top of what Game161 has said, I would also add, if you invest in a few wireless chargers, and put them in different rooms, at work, etc., you can effectively "top off" your device throughout the day. That's what I do. I have three wireless chargers collected over the years (I wait for good discounts/sales/promos) and they're all placed in strategic locations. One on the nightstand next to my bed, one in my office at home, and one in my office at work. Anytime I'm laying down my device, I lay it on the wireless charger. Why not, right? So it's always topping off.

I can literally leave work after a full day, and be at 100%. All without ever dealing with a wire; all from just setting my phone down which is what I'd be doing anyway. Instead of setting it down on the table, I set it down on the charger.
This is true. I don't mind plugging in at work while I'm busy, I have a 6000mAh Power Bank that supports fast charging 2.0, but yeah, at home multiple wireless chargers would come in very handy. :)

This is what anti-wireless charging people don't understand. It isn't so much about "not dealing with a wire" (though that is nice), it's more about just always topping off your device whenever you set it down. It's a luxury and convenience.

I never worry about battery life anymore or check SOT or anything. I simply don't have to.
I know if might cost abit but the note 7 Samsung battery case looks a great option if you are out and worried about battery life

Charged it will take you from 0% to 80%

Perfect if you are away for the weekend so you could get two days easily without charging

Yup, went for all black. Thought about the coral blue, but I think the blue would be distracting from the screen, I prefer having black borders. And the silver is just way too reflective, it looks like a mirror.

I'm really tempted to just use TW with no launcher to start

I'm liking TW improvements

You still have the 6s Plus?

How do you handle having two phones especially with it being Android & iPhone.. when calling and messaging folks what do you use? Is it just the phone that's in your hand at that moment?

6s plus is what I'm using now but I will be selling it when my note 7 arrives.

Right now iMessage is used for texting my girlfriend so yeah I might miss that but generally I don't text many people. My best mates only use what's app so for me losing iMessage isn't a huge deal. I like texting my girlfriend via my iPad but I will get used to not using it.

I will use note 7 as my phone and iPad Pro at home. I like both platforms so it works well for me using Both android and IOS. I may get a 8 inch galaxy S tab3 when it's out for on the go with films and to shows e.t.c but I like using both . iPad is still the best tablet you can get

That's the same setup that I have. One at my office at work, one at my home office and one at my bedroom. I have never low battery and the feeling is that I never charge anymore because of the convenience.

I already sold my 6s Plus... using some loner right now until the Note 7 arrive.

I have a iPad Pro that I use iMessage with family/friends and your definitely right the iPad is the best tablet you can get. What has me wondering whether Apple has something groundbreaking with the iPhone 7 that would regret me getting the Note 7.

Only reservation I have with switching is being accustomed to the rich selection of the App Store and using iMessage. I'm hoping I can convert some of my family/friends to upcoming Allo.

I'm hoping they do trying to hold out for announcements. But if the screen and or camera is not on par back to the note family.

Great post! Looking forward to this. Switching from an iPhone 6S to the Note 7. I've never had wireless charging.

The camera will be on par w/ the Note especially with the rumored Dual Camera... But the screen I'm not so sure maybe once Apple move away from their current LED then it won't match the Note display.

But if Apple does do something amazing, then I'll simply sell my Note 7. There's plenty of promos from Samsung that ends at the end of this month... best to take advantage of it now.

I just get tired of being on the same photo for over a year. And I had the note 4 and note 5. I like the change up year to year.

Afternoon shift at CPW today for me.

Walked in to the back office, Note 7 sat there on charge. 3 OF THEM.

I just sighed and said to the assistant manager "when did these come in?!"
Yesterday, apparently.

All of our demo units are blue, and it's just lovely. A really nice shade.

Wednesday's, I was told, are generally quiet in our town. Not a city, or flagship store but a good amount of foot fall at weekends.
We had at least 8 people in asking about it. It was nice just to talk to people and hear their excitement. An older guy popped in who had an S7 in silver, and was wondering when it was out and if he could see it to see if it was worth him getting it.
The struggle is real. And seemingly will continue into later life! :D

I took my Lumia to work today, on the off chance we had a Note 7 in, and did some very brief comparisons. Obviously, it won't be as accurate as uploading the photo to my computer and checking off the devices screens, but they were very very similar and not a lot between them. On outdoor shots, (I stood by the door and took a snap) the Lumia was slightly more detailed when zoomed in, whereas the Note was noisier and more jagged. But on the devices screens there wasn't much between them other than Samsung's usual vibrant colours.

Got some piccies of it, nothing you've all not seen before, apart from my half eaten lunch o_O.

Now just to decide if I should pre-order or not.
I'm sorely tempted. I honestly believe that it is the best feeling phone on the market for its size. It just doesn't feel too big, and it's lovely in the hand. The weight feels completely spot on.

I had some time messing with it (I did work too btw  ) and it struck me how clean Touchwiz looked on this phone compared to the Galaxy tablets we use for work and the previous Samsung's I've owned / had experience with.

Another biggie, was the speed. Compared to my Priv, the Note 7 was lightning quick. Slick, fast and fluid, especially when loading things such as Play Music. Very sluggish on my Priv but here there was no delay at all.

Samsung rep came in today too, he was basically asking me why I haven't pre-ordered it already and what was wrong with me. I had no answer. :D

Tonight will be spent trying to justify the purchase and how I can get it without causing too much of a strain on my finances!

This is why I'm finding it hard to order the n7. The s7 edge does everything I need so well.

I think it all boils down to the S-pen for S7 edge users and addition to having the latest from Samsung, but if I had the S7 edge... I wouldn't go w/ the Note 7.

I think if you can push through the excitement and ignore the hype... you'll be just fine with the S7 edge.

S7 edge is a great phone but if false touches was an issue on the edge but on the note 7 the rumours are no issues with false touches. Will see I guess.

I get why those who won't get it if they are happy with the edge but the features they have packed in with the S pen I think will make more people use the pen. Which is a big sell to me.
