Clearance, so I ordered, as I would not want to pay full price for a 12" Note S and I have wanted a bigger tablet for years, enough waiting.

I can get a 12" Note S after it has dropped in price, and hand this one down then.

Scored! The next day, it is up by $110 (while still being a deal).

There is a post on xda about getting $100 trade in for a working tablet. Well I have an old Nook tablet so ...

This may be a big ymmv but I am going to try. The more I fiddle with the 8.4, the more I like it but real world performance with everything I want to do I will not know unless I pick one up and $299 would be much better given the trade in.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, 10.5 are great but i have a Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and it is great and very happy with it but with the same specs and extra GB of RAM(3GB) and a Super AMOLED display on the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4(is a great tablet)

I think it is a hardly a upgrade from my Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 so i won't be buying the Tab S or a new tablet for a very long time.

Over a month ago i upgraded from my old Galaxy Tab 2 7 to my Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, now that's a big upgrade! :)

I looked at the new Samsung tablet today, it as playing a demo video, and I have to say it looked amazing. Tempts me a little, but sticking with my retina mini for now.

I'm genuinely loving the note 12.2. I see there is an updated launcher to the new magazine ux on the tab s over on XDA. Anyone flashed it?

I'm sorely tempted by the Tab S 8.4 but I'm kind of hoping they'll come out with a Note version of it soon. That's gotta be the perfect format for a Note.

The $100 trade in for a working tablet flew at BB so I picked up a 8.4" S. No dice on a Nook Tablet though as it did not qualify so I traded something else.

Any word on if you can use the 10% movers coupon on top of the trade offer?

Just picked up the 8.4 at best buy with a trade in!

So far so good and the screen is fantastic!

does look stunning, hopefully it's the same screen on the note next 8.0. Amazing the difference compared to the note 8.0 I have now.

The Samsung rep said no other discount could be added to the $100 trade in. One's mileage may vary though, perhaps worth a shot.

So far so good as well. Congrats, I think we made out pretty good until Samsung releases a super duper Note tablet for even less money! :)

I saw the S Tab at BB and was absolutely stunned by the screen. Apple or any other mfg doesn't come close to the Sammy S-Tab screen. I recently purchased the Tab 4 8.0 and the BB sales rep encouraged me to trade it in. It's only worth $4.

I did mention to the Samsung rep that the entry level tab needs to be 32GB. A 16GB tablet these days is just not enough and moving apps to SD storage is not good enough post JB.

Especially since Samsung products at the 16GB level usually only have about 10GB for the end user to access.

Thanks. Trying to decide to get this or wait for the new nexus/htc tablet

Nothing (Nexus 8/9) has been announced but 16GB is no longer an option for me with all the games I have in my account. GTA San Andreas is over 1GB.

The new rumors from evleaks are saying 64gb. Not my main tablet but want something with android and that sounds like it's going to be really nice

I hope you're right but so far the Nexus 8/9 is still speculation. I was hoping for an announcement during the I/O conference and it didn't happen.

Me too. If it's anything like the Htc One phones there may finally be a tablet with the build quality of the ipad

It's worth more than $4, at least in the UK. We could get about £90 for it.

Major performance boost with latest update from samsung.this thing Flys and I can't wait for root so we can over clock the 8 cores and gpu!
