Smooth. The texture look actually has no texture at all to the touch.
Just ordered a white S4 from my carrier.
So much this. I put Nova Launcher Prime on my Note 2 on day 1 and have not given a single though about Touchwiz since then (save functions like Smart Stay etc, which I actually want to use).
Touchwiz is a non-issue.
Smooth, it just looks textured.
Been playing with my S4 for about an hour.
At first Android seems all over the bloody place. Someone tell me it gets better once set up
The only downside to not using touchwiz is you lose those little "air previews" when you hover over certain apps
This is what makes me lol the most about the plastic hate. All those haters, almost all of them have a plastic case on their phone to protect it. So they never feel nor enjoy the premium materials they just have a thicker, heavier plastic phone lol. And when you ask them why, most will say for resale value lol..I don't get that point.

Lol I don't care trophy women, I date for what's inside not outside. Samr for my devices, a crap phone or os is still crap even if it looks good in glass and aluminum.

One of the best S4 reviews i've seen. Concludes with most of what has been said though. Which is a reflection of the S4 itself.

I have to wait another week now because of stock delays in the UK.
I was told that AT&T would have them in the stores tomorrow 4/27. I will be at one of the stores at 10AM to get one for my son.
You shouldn't lose any of those options. All you're doing is replacing the launcher - the other "bits" that Samsung put in are still there. I've done this on my S3 and still have the smart stay and almost all the other features. The only one that doesn't work is the "pan to move icon" from one homescreen page to another.

Yeah this should be true, on my Note 2 all the quick S-note and pen functions are intact with Nova Prime. (Would have been a dealbreaker for me otherwise, I myself using that stuff surprisingly often.)
I've ordered the white, but looking at the box opening I'm not sure I should have gone black instead.
