Depends what apps you are downloading. I have 70 apps and I'm using about 2.5gb extra from what came stock.
I don't have 'big' file sized games. If your downloading bigger games like Horn, Batman, Spiderman, modern Combat, Nova, Need for Speed - then YES the remaining space is too little.
But MicroSD cards are so cheap. I just got a Samsung 32GB Class 10, one for 25 delivered.
Hey MRU, is the lag really noticeable compared to a nexus 4? It's a shame Samsung keeps butchering android for their gimmicks.
Would you be loading aokp/cm on it as soon as it was there? I found a big difference in smoothness on my gs3 when it was on slim bean (aosp based rom) compared to stock touchwiz with bloat ware disabled.
I wonder how long until a stable aosp rom comes. I almost have the urge to buy an s3 (better camera and battery than nexus 4) and slap aokp on it until nexus 5 comes or a daily driver aokp is made for s4.
Beautiful dogs, MRU, and I envy the views!
One of these days the wife and I are going to make it over that way for a vacation (her lineage is Scotch/Irish, so she really wants to visit the "homeland").
Thanks for the pictures!![]()
Thanks for this. Is it true that you can no longer put apps onto the MicroSD cards?
Didn't think you could put apps on your SD cards anynore
View full screen and zoom into them for the difference in detail that pixels do give.
Yes the camera is better IMHO than the HTC One's.
For landscapes & seascapes where much of the detail is distance away, there is no escaping the fact 13mp pick up more fine details than 3.8mp.
This is why the 32gb version is a must have if released so users don't have worry space issues on their phones.

This looks like a very useful app. Anyone have personal experience? Do apps slow down since they are on the SD card?

From your photos, I can conclude that HTC makes the sun shine MORE than Samsung.
Can't argue with that kinda science.
Not bad, but lack of detail is slightly noticeable. Any chance you can take some in widescreen/landscape mode and post? I'm a huge fan of the new camera features on the S4 like Drama Shot and the animated gif mode
4 core. Ireland & UK have same model. I believe most of western europe gets the Snapdragon model.
I was genuinely surprised to find this phone has no vodafone tampering what so ever. No splash screen, no pre-installed apps and having put an O2 and 3 sim in, it's sim free too.
Maybe Samsung didn't give them enough time to tamper - so early adoptees are given basically factory unbranded handsets.

Yes the HTC one is more similar to iOS and its just less 'in your face' aesthetically whilst offering enhancements over the raw google calendar.
HTC email app is inferior only in the fact it doesn't automatically resize HTML emails when in portrait mode, you have to be in landscape. Whereas the S4's email app does show all the html email in portrait.
Small difference really (a nit pick) but I'd give the nod to the S4 on that aspect anyway.
Is it a good one then? How does it work?
Some reviews seem to state that you are unable to move apps to SD.
Thats because there are certain apps that cant be moved. Manufacturers are also trying to make their newer phones so you cant move them. Ironic isnt it? I thought Android was supposed to be so free and non restrictive...
