Post here. No point trying to keep two edge threads going :) They're basically identical devices other than size and bit extra ram. So yeah - may as well post here :)

Yes I agree. Will post photos tomorrow since it's already late here :)

Edit: Can we change the title of this thread to "S6 Edge/Edge Plus" or "S6 Edge and Edge Plus". A mod can do that easily but what do you all say?

The Obliq case comes with 3 interchangeable bumper frames. I got the Green Emerald and so this one came with a pink and white bumper. I got it for the green color and I don’t think I’ll ever use the other two colors but it’s nice that there are options. The Verus case looks amazing and sleek. I love the green color and the two tone back (green emerald and light silver). I like how smooth the case feels, don’t know how to describe it but I think it’s rubberized plastic?

The button cutouts are all accurate. Neither of the cases add too much bulk. The Obliq case is a bit on the thicker side though. They’re light and are easy to apply. Both are great looking cases. They feel great as well. We all know that the new Samsung phones are slippery so these cases provide excellent grip. If I had to choose between the two, I would go with the Verus case.

Edit: in the first photo, there's something white like a scratch on the home button, I have no idea what that is, it's only visible in the picture, I can't see it in person.

Care to explain what the stupid decisions are? Other than not releasing the Note5 in Europe, I can't figure out what you're talking about on the mobile end. I own the S6 Edge+ and it's by far the best phone I've ever used, and makes the iPhone 6 Plus look and feel like a dinosaur. Especially given that is it expected to have almost the exact same design for another year.

Well, as you said yourself not releasing it in Europe is pretty bad. Not combining it with the Note series and just releasing an concentrating on one model. The overly aggressive memory management, especially in light of the increased 4gb of RAM. They did get the pricing right, I thought $50 less than the iPhone would have been smart and they came in at about $35 less, probably not enough for consumers though as the days of expensive flagships are fading away. Only Apple can still sell an expensive flagship. Phones like the Motox which are flagships but are much cheaper, and of course the takeover of the Chinese manufacturers will put more hurt onto Samsung. Taking away external memory then gouging consumers for more memory, I'm sorry $100 is ridiculous for 32gb more of RAM in this day and age. Yes Apple does it, but Apple can get away with it. Removal of external battery probably isn't a big deal though since they have such awesome power management on their phones, but it still probably ruffled some feathers. Of course we can't forget the biggest mistake, plastering their logo on the front of such a beautiful phone (I'm kidding!! Sort of...).

It's an awesome phone, I enjoyed it the time I had with it. Unfortunately I have no faith in Samsung phones anymore after being burned way too many times. I can't say there was any particular issue with the edge plus as I didn't have it long enough, I just didn't want to take the chance with $800+ and my business.

At the end of the day we will see what the sales numbers are. Sales are NOT necessarily indicative of which phone is better, and I'm not saying any phone is particularly better or worse than another. I am saying though that Samsung could have made better decisions and that their sales will be poor for the edge plus.

I love my S6 Edge. I'm happy with all the features, performance is great, size is perfect, camera is brilliant, battery is really good, and it looks beautiful. By far the best smartphone I've ever owned.

Awesome! I just picked up a gold 128GB edge on ebay. I was missing having an Android phone after selling my Nexus 6 and got too impatient waiting for the next Moto X and next gen Nexus.

Just pre-ordered the S6 Edge Plus from three.

Don't even ask how much it cost me.

Anyone got any suggestions for where I can sell a brand new Galaxy Note 3 (straight from the insurance company!)?

£56. I needed unlimited data and the 64GB model!

Surely a brand new galaxy note 3 will go on Gumtree for about £180?!
think you will be lucky to get near that. Seeing as there are two newer generations out. Android phones have terrible resale value sadly.

Did the mods really combine the s6 edge and the edge plus threads together?!?! WTF?

Yep. They're essentially same device other than size and couple minor differences. Going forward and with new phones being released and thread topics increasing in the sub forum, it's much easier to keep just one main thread active than two. You only have to look at XDA's Edge + separate sub forum and most of posts / questions are actually about the smaller edge but people find it easier to simply post in the newest / last thread section.

Sorry but those cases look awful. Samsung go to all that trouble to design a nice looking phone (at last) and then people put these cheap looking cases on them. I guess its nothing new when you look at the cases put on iPhones but why not just buy a cheap mid range phone?

The only way iPhones and the Edge should be used is naked even with no screen protector.

This phone just doesn't look right in a case with the rounded edges.

I agree but If they weren't so slippery you could.

No need to apologize. I like it. And I don't really care whether it looks good or not. At least it provides protection and grip. Do you know how many times the phone slipped from my hand? I paid a lot for this device, I need to protect it.

Then you bought the wrong device because the Main Reason for the edge is for the look. The Features Are Not worth it in comparison to s6.
