ATT only has the death star logo, no actually "AT&T" and of course the "Galaxy S6 edge+" logo on the bottom. These don't bother me at all though.

I dislike how Verizon puts their logo so prominently on the front of their phones. On the back doesn't bother me. My wife's old note 2 has Verizon on the home button.

Ergonomics are still annoying me. With the small curved side bezel and sharp edges it's really kind of a tough phone to use, 2 handed or 1 handed. The screen display gets slightly distorted where it curves, and I didn't think it would annoy me, but it does a bit. Some screen functions don't work on first tap when they are on the curve, like back arrows. Sometimes I have to tap them twice because instead of tapping them flat, you kind of have to angle your finger slightly. No biggie, just annoying. It's also very easy to hit stuff while holding it due to the curved edges.

These were my exact sentiments regarding the standard S6 edge and nearly everyone here thought I was crazy. Sure, it's pretty as all get out but I found it uncomfortable to hold and hate the distortion at the edges of the screen. Sure, I'm fairly certain I probably could get used to it but I shouldn't have to.

I think the use of curved glass on the Note 5 is far more preferable. I have to confess, I came oh so close to picking up a Note 5 today---had the old 3GS in my pocket for trade in and pulled into the BB parking lot. Ultimately, cooler head prevailed and I hesitated just long enough to convince myself probably not best for me. As good as the hardware is, it's really many of Apple's services that I value more and would likely find I don't want to live without.

Yeah they do, I don't care too much about the back. I'd just like the front to be completely free of any branding. It's just my personal preference, I think it makes the phone look MUCH more sleek.

Same preference here. I understand companies are going to put their name or logo on their devices but like you, I hate seeing it on the front of the device. The seamless, smooth black front of my iPhone 6+ is my favorite view of the device.

Picked mine up this afternoon. First time owning an Android phone, and I can't say I'm impressed. The hardware is droolworthy, but Android still does not feel like a fully baked operating system. Blocky/no animations, strange lag, millions of prompts, and subpar touch response. Not even half as pleasant of a user experience as iOS. My main gripe right now is the T-Mobile My Account app is draining more battery than anything, and it can't be disabled. I really need help with it.

Please don't blame Android, blame Scamsuck, and their atrocious UI Touchwiz, yuck :( it just sucks.

Stock vanilla Android is where it's at. The Nexus phones are the only way to go IMO. Stock Android on Nexus is buttery smooth, super fast, zero lag. And no bloatware.

I'm quite sure you're right, but Nexus phones have also been plagued with under performing cameras and batteries. I'll try to hold out for the next Nexus, but I bet I'll cave and get the 6S Plus. If this phone were running stock android or ios, it'd be the best phone I've ever owned by far.

Touchwiz runs circles around stock android, laggy and all. Although I must say I was VERY impressed with how fast the s6 edge plus is. No lag or hesitation, just instant open. I'll reserve judgment for one that's been loaded up and ran hard as sometimes TW gets worse with use. But wow, with a dark theme touchwiz is really nice and super fast.

While I saw no lag whatsoever nor very many prompts, I did experience subpart touch response, especially on the curved edges or even just near them. I put TW up there with iOS any day of the week. Recently I've fallen back in with Apple and found their widgets actually work nicely and put to rest one of my major complaints about iOS. Still, there are things I like about each and no matter which phone I use, I miss some feature or functionality of the other one.

Got a dbrand skin for my gold S6 Edge.

Here a few snaps. It does add nice grip and of-course hides the finger prints. Though arguably some of the beauty of the device too.

This is the leather one and they have similar for the S6 E+ & S6

Not sure about that MRU.

Yeah it's ok .... but somehow it kind of feels like your hiding the beauty of the design. I ordered the leather effect one as I saw MBKHD's carbon one on his edge but thought it looked bit too gaudy.

I have no doubt I'll probably go through another 50 cases and skin and protectors before settling :D

I'm a big fan of leather on my phone so I think it looks great. And unless you're using a transparent case/skin, you're going to be hiding part of the phone--this one, IMO, improves the look by at least hiding one of the logos. ;)

And the real beauty of that device is in front. :D

Hmm, never been a fan of non clear back skins. I usually use a matte clear skinomi skin, gives it much more grip, takes away fingerprints and you can still see the beautiful back.

Skinomi always has a kind of sponginess feel to their protectors I find myself. I've tried a few now on different devices but always end up taking them off a few days later ...

Glass protectors are the best for me and I love spigen's glas.tr range but curved screens are a pain for glass protectors often some leaving warping on edges ...

It's a shame things like Gorilla Glass can't actually be stronger that we wouldn't worry about it, but even GG4 is still very prone to smallest bits of grit or sand ...

MRU, I really like how the back looks with the skin on. But the front is okay :)

Edit: just realised this is the S6 Edge Plus thread. I thought it was the S6 Edge.

As they are essentially same (especially now the software has come to the standard S6 Edge) and this thread is current active seems pointless keeping two edge threads going :)

I was thinking of waiting for the next S line but after playing with the S in the store it's a little tough to get over that big screen. I might be getting an S6 Edge+ soon after all...
