No doubt we don't know for sure until the official reveal. Definitely safer to temper expectations.

It sure would be nice if the s6 did offer front facing speakers though. It'll finally catch up to HTC and Sony and Motorola.

They could definitely use a better speaker system. The speaker placement on the M7, M8 and so on are optimal IMHO.

If the rumors are true with a touch bases Fingerprint Scanner, full metal chassis, dual speakers, toned down Touchwiz, etc, it will be a tough year for HTC, LG, Motorola, and Sony.

Interesting rumor: http://www.phonearena.com/news/Gala...w-touch-finger-sensor-for-Samsung-Pay_id66306

Galaxy S6 depiction with a taller home key hints at a new touch finger sensor for Samsung Pay

Looks like Meizu's Color OS, but the bezel ratio looks much better.

Ya, I think they probably used that as a reference picture to help demonstrate what the rumor could look like on the S6.

----------

Honestly, if you really think about it, it wouldn't be hard for Samsung to knock this out of the park.

Full metal design is what people have always wanted/demanded of Samsung.

Potential front facing speakers catches them up to HTC/Sony, etc.

Potential larger finger print/home button catches them up to Apple's Touch ID

Promised software optimization should keep TW in check. Early leaks indicate this is looking well.

Promised battery optimization both software-wise and chip-wise (and then along with all their Ultimate Battery Saver's Mode features) should really help abate, hopefully, those who are worried about non-swappable batteries.

And who knows what else Samsung has up their sleeve in terms of hardware/software features.

Then, as a bonus, don't forget there is the Edge variant that could appeal to niche users.

Samsung has a chance to really impress here. This is the year to do it.

I hope they carry this all over to the Note 5 later this year. That's the device I'm really interested in.

That home button definitely looks taller, no?

EDIT: Also sort of looks like the original S1 Captivate.

That's my hope as well, the Note 5 is shaping up to be a beast if the S6 is any indication.

Absolutly. I would love a thinner and more rounded metal built Note 5. Would like like a 6 Plus but less bezels and more screen. And running a new lighter weight Touchwiz would be awesome

Hate to say told ye so ;)

Well up until "Rumor 04" I felt I had a decent case... Now I'm ready to approach the judge to make a deal :p

So if this is just some elaborate pun on rumors.......does that mean we're in for some horrific punchline at the end?
