Agreed - but I do hope they do clear out the detritus once and for all which can only have a genuinely positive result to end users. Even for those who aren't buying the flagship - but the low and mid tier models this year (if the Touchwiz version follows onto those).
It will also be a real test to see how genuine Samsung are being about a 'new' touchwiz, or if it is all just a case of emperors new clothes.

Aside from their weird take on "rumors," there are actually some solid and believable rumors that make sense. Optimized Touch Wiz, wireless charging, new metal design, new chip/better battery optimization, and a few other things.
I wouldn't say there's nothing yet to be excited about the S6. But you're absolutely right that there's no point to get too riled up. We're only a few days away now.

If those are front facing speakers, they are the ugliest iteration of front facing speakers ever. :X
Are you referring to the bar code stickers because I don't see any front facing speakers?
Anyhow, I don't see anything special about the design so hopefully internals make up for it.

Which isn't a bad thing - indeed it looks nicer & more premium, but is again just more an evolution of every Samsung device and the metal of Note & Alpha.
I'm still betting 100% that edge variant will one sided (right) only too.

Those three black spots on the lower right speaker holes, and sort of on top right too.

Even though Samsung has routinely disappointed me with their Galaxy announcement since the S3, I am actually looking forward to the S6 Edge variant even more so than HTC One M9 and the now dying Sony in mobile with its Z4.
Just last week, I almost got the HTC One M8 for $200. But I went from the biggest phone with a 5-inch screen to one of the most compact for a 5-inch screen with Sharp. The bezel-less stuff might be a gimmick and more annoying... But who knows? People eventually adapt. That's how technology evolves. Changes.
I just hope Samsung can offer a sort of smart touch response to prevent accidental touches on both sides. I saw the Note Edge the other day and thought it was kinda cool but missing a side. This S6 Edge intrigues me more if both slope down. We will see by next week. Might be the coolest-looking mobile product Samsung have ever announced. My expectations isn't so high but my curiosity is.

It looks more like a Chinese knockoff of the S6 more than the S6. Even the metal looks plastic and those corners are very rounded. Not really believing these now at all.
