I don't see it. It would normally be under the settings section but I'm guessing it's gone.

Grr. That's pretty annoying. What a silly decision on Samsung's part. A browser that took advantage of the entire display was a big deal to me.

As for the battery life, I think initial tests/reviews have said it's on par or even slightly better than the iPhone 6.

Either way, you get Quick Charging (10 mins = 4 hours!), and wireless charging to make up for it. And for about the same battery life, you're gaining a lot of features/specs (bigger screen, for example).

I think this is acceptable.

Come on! par with the iphone 6? really? the last i read it was way better than the iphone.

Well that's good!

Quoting a a previous post here:

9 hours of use and 67% of battery remaining that's pretty good.

At the end of that 44 mins presentation he finished with 55% still pretty nice.

What i'm only waiting for to make a purchase decision is if im gonna be able to uninstall all my cell provider bloatware....TELCEL

Ha ha, now it looks like an iphone, even the white cables....

Samsung devices have come with white cables for a LONG time now. Even back to the S3/Note 2 time period. My S2 came with a black 1amp brick and a black USB cable. S3 changed that with a higher amp white charger.

Nop, my S3 has black cables, even the charger is black. Same with the S1.

The Galaxy s6 looks pretty much like an iphone 6 but again: well built.

I'm pretty sure the S6 is not prone to scratches like the iphone 6 is.

Yeah because the IP6 was so original.....They even took Beats!

Well i should have added something:

I've said more than once, if you hid all the branding, you'd swear the S6 was an Apple product.

That's not a bad thing and certainly nothing to be ashamed of. The S6 is amazing.

That really don't have much in common IMHO.

To each his own. I think it has stark similarities in design. I think most share that opinion. The image was just to show the "everyone copies Apple" camp that Apple follows the market trend as well. They did it with larger screens phones.
Get so tired of the trolls that have no interest in the phones in the thread. They are just here to say something negative.
I know thats not you Technarchy.

Somehow these phones look alike?

Not like Apple in terms of looks. Like Apple in the sense of elegant feel and commitment industrial design. The feel in the hand, the deceptive light weight for something that looks weighty to the eye. It's just oozes Jon Ive more than anything from Korea.

I just never got that "vibe" from the HTC One series, despite the aluminum. I never read much into the use of the antenna lines either. I think HTC M9 design is certainly one of the best in the business, and like the M9 aesthetics, but it doesn't say "Could have designed in Cupertino" like the S6. Not to me at least.

I thought the original M7 was the phone Apple should/would have built instead of the IP5. To me it had Apple written all of it.
But as far as the S6...the premium materials and design go a step farther than the IP6. The aluminum IP6 is very prone to scratches. The S6 with the glass front/back is not. If the early videos are believable the glass on the front and back is pretty darn tough and will not break or crack easily.

I don't think they look much a like. What do some of you want them to do, make the phone oval or square shaped?
Clearly there is a different home button and earpiece. The back has a much bigger camera lens in a different place that protrudes and a different flash with no other lines on the back. And unfortunately it has a glass back.

I don't know why this keeps getting brought up. Why does anybody really care?

Many have complaining that the plastic back isn't good enough (which I prefer) and more that they finally do a metal back, now they are copying and it looks like an iPhone. Some are never happy.

My boyfriend had the S3 and it came with a white charger. As did my Note 1, S4, Note 3, S5 and Note 4.

The S6 looks similar to the iPhone 6 only upon first glance and initial impressions. After studying it for a mere few seconds (literally), one sees it's not very much like the iPhone at all. The closest similarity is the bottom portion. And that's about it.

But it's a bit silly to say Samsung is copying Apple by moving the speakers down below. Was Apple really the first to do that? I think as devices get smaller, there's really no room in the back. Plus, given an all glass back panel, it made perfect sense for Samsung to move the speakers to the bottom.

Hey, Apple moved their power button to the right side where Samsung had it for YEARS. Where were the same legion of "copy cat" callers for when Apple did that? HTC One M7 had antennae lines before the iPhone 6. Again, where was the outcry from these same Apple fans?

The point is, this "it looks like an iPhone" and "X copied Apple" thing is getting boring.

In my opinion, the S6 (and the Edge) look better than anything Apple's designed in the past few years, especially the iPhone 6/6+ (which I think are ugly, and I own one!). It so happens my favorite iPhone design was the 4 and 4S. And one of my favorite, if not my favorite, Android design is the Sony Xperia Z3.

So bring on that glass panel, baby. ;) Especially now that there are videos showing just how strong Gorilla Glass 4 is.

Thats great review from traditionally pro apple The Verge.

I think so too.

Personally, I think their knocks are rubbish. Camera tests seems to show it's better than either iPh 6/6+ or the Note 4. I can't believe they're knocking the low light camera results for showing too much light. The example pictures they showed didn't look overexposed or anything. A ridiculous knock.

Also, the average battery life is completely balanced out by wireless charging and quick charge, which they barely touched upon.

PS. I'm talking about the video review. Haven't had the chance to read the review in full yet.

Yeah.....you can tell from the tone of their review they are reluctant to praise any Samsung or Android phone. They are a very pro Apple site and always have been.
