I thought it was a great review for Samsung and it showed the honest faults that usually come with Sammy phones. Resource management relating to poor battery life, bloat is still prevalent even if toned down some, and the camera being great but still not on the IP level.

Other than that they still had undertones of comparing them to Apple and not as good but I think these will be big sellers for Samsung.

Actually, when you read the review, he doesn't even really knock the software, and in fact praises most of it.

The video review and the written review are oddly incongruous. It sounded far more negative in the video review.

I think the review was fine. They praised them as samsungs best, while being honest about its changes being influenced by their biggest competitor. It seems like a great phone.

You lost me when I got to this point. IP camera > S6? Not from the reviews/samples I've seen.

Yeah, once again, the video review vs the written review is incongruous. The video review makes his "complaints" of the S6 camera seem really negative. Whereas the written review says otherwise:

In bright light, I’m hard pressed to find anything major to complain about. In low light, pictures tend to come out a little more yellow than I’d like, and it can be pretty aggressive in lightening things up too much. Yes, you see artifacting when you zoom in on the results, but not enough to bother me. And in some cases, I actually preferred the lighter images that Samsung put out to what I got with the iPhone 6 Plus.

Too many unknowns to pre-order and I certainly would not do so with a test at BB.

I have a myriad of devices, I can wait especially till prices drop and the overall consensus is positive about the things you posted above.

And my S4 is running pretty darn good. :)

Been trying to resist ordering, but thanks to a glitch in at&t's system, one of my lines is now upgrade eligible (it wasn't suppose to be until next year). So I'm ordering a black s6. Just couldn't resist.

You can pre-order the 64GB version of the Gold Platinum from T-mobile now. 32GB and 128GB still not available.

It is your destiny!

Agh! That happens to be the storage size and color that I want. I am so tempted...

For the first time I'm thinking I may go S6 over Edge. Simply reading the numerous hands on reviews from reviewers are all saying the S6 is the one to go for .....

I think you will regret it too. I am not sure the curved dual edge serves any purpose. But hot damn it looks nice! Just for the cool factor alone. It is different and that alone sets it apart in my book.

Who are you trying to kid?!? You know at some point before the end of this year you will have owned both of them.:p

I'd go Edge if I was to get one.

The S6 is a beautiful device but it isnt "beautifuler" than my IP6+ in terms of hardware or camera so the Edge would set it apart.

The Edge has small functionality now but you would only hope, crazy hoping on Samsung for a software update, that they would utilize the edge more accordingly in the future with updates or apps.

Hehe, I'll bet there are a lot of "glitches" in people's accounts with a new flagship being released. ATT knows what it's doing.

I'm surprised the camera isn't better than the iPhone according to the Verge review, have there been any other reviews that said this?

WSJ review. Very good.

it's the Verge...of course they're gonna say its subpar to the iPhone.

Hello everyone, I'm thinking about making the switch to android, but i have a few questions. So after seeing this new phone I'm really curious to try android out. I have had an iPhone since the 4, and i currently have the 5s, which don't get me wrong is an awesome phone, it was a huge upgrade from my 4, but i feel like i been with iOS for too long. Main reasons why i love iPhone is because of the camera and iMessage (east coast mountains really put a damper on cell service) I want a bigger phone too, and actually the iPhone 6 is my ideal perfect phone, but it didn't offer enough for me to upgrade when i have a 5s.

So my questions are, for the galaxy s6 can you root it to just lollipop like the nexus 6. The only way i want an android device if it runs full android and get the device carrier bloatware off, (I'm looking at your verizon) Also since I'm on verizon and i will continue to keep my iPhone 5s, when i want, can i take out the sim of either phone and use that one on any particular day?

Im not too invested into apple, my family has iPads and we FaceTime maybe once a month, but i also have a macbook pro which is my main school computer. I don't normally use iTunes anymore cause i prefer spotify now and only reason i use photos is cause thats where my photos go, which i don't mind. I usually just sync my photos through dropbox. Plus this summer I'm building a gaming pc which could possibly become my main hub and just use my mac for school.
