Sorry about that- edited my Post- good common sense on your part.

Some quick thoughts after almost 24hrs of ownership, doing this during my lunch break.
The screen is awesome. It's slightly sharper than the iphones, though you wouldn't be able to tell unless your really looking, it's a lot like the Note 4. But the big improvement is outdoor visibility. It's a nice improvement over the Note 4, I live in sunny Florida and out visibility has always been a problem with AMOLEDs, but on the S6 it's good, on par with the best lcds. Combine that with the dark blacks and vibrant colors, it's the best screen out now. The only drawback is that white still looks slightly yellow.
After I loaded up all my info and apps, I have noticed a hit in performance. Don't get me wrong, everything is still fast, but I do notice stuttering here and there. As I type this post, if I pause for too long and start typing, the keys register but the sound and vibration dont, they delay then catch up. After they catch up, it's back in sync with my presses, but that little bit of lag and hesitation is still there.
Battery is a mixed bag. While in use, the battery seems to run down Farley quickly, but in standby mode it just sips the battery like the iphone, while working battery dropped 2% in almost 2 hours with 2 phone calls and no other use. Last night I fully charged it before setting up all my apps and accounts, I killed the battery with about 3.5hrs screen on time. That will probably come out to 4-5 hrs screen time on a normal day. The bayern does recharge very quickly to around 80%, then it slows down.
Reception has been pretty good, as has been call quality. Samsung's virtual keyboard has been greatly imprpved, haven't switched over to Google yet and I don't think I will. All the basic apps look MUCH better, while I still think stock android and sense have a nicer design, it's has been greatly improved and is no longer an eyesore imo.
That's about it for now, will try to post again tonight and get some pictures up for those who asked.
Sorry, Then you clearly do not know what you are talking about I'm afraid.
Any screen can scratch including GG4.
That's the easy way to justify the scratches on the iphone 6, sorry but i disagree if the phone is well manufactured and you treat it with love and by love i mean decent use it shouldn't get scratches unless its quality its lame like the iphone 6...then go and buy it a screen protector...
So you disregard all the evidence presented to you from a wide variety of impartial sources simply because it proves your assumption is utterly flawed and baseless. Bless.

Again I point you to these GS6 Edge buyers getting scratched screens out of the box

you wish.
Try searching iphone 6 scratched screen on Apple forums, you are gonna be surprised.
I saw some of those pics on XDA. Can you imagine that right out of the box! Yikes.
Someone suggested it was from the plastic film the phones comes in. That people were "sliding" it out instead of unwrapping it.....and that was what was scratching the screen.
If you believe that......I have some swamp land...I mean rich fertile acreage I would like to sell ya.....
What are you talking about???
I have not said iPhone screens do not scratch. I said ALL screen can scratch. That doesn't mean they will - but it means ALL are susceptible. I do not understand why you find that so hard to comprehend - that you can't even see things objectively.

.
Same here i do not understand you and why you don't comprehend, i'm not saying the galaxy 3 is 100% infallibe against scratches, if i pass a knife on it i'm pretty sure i can scratch it, obviously.
I'm talking about one simple example here: putting a phone in your pocket, the galaxy 3 (or at least mine), doesn't get a single one while the iphone 6 does apparently...
Does one really have to spell out how there are wide variables involved and the dust and lint in your pocket can change and that people wear 'different' pants ? This is literally turning into an episode of Sesame Street. I'll just stick you on ignore - it's simpler than dealing with nonsense.
Well mate, according to your "theory" my galaxy after almost 3 years of use, should be full of scratches, at least 1 tiny one....it doesn't have a single one, surprise!
Same for the ipod touch 5, nice quality screens.
So how did Samsung do the fingerprint reader without violating Apple's patents?

All the evindence presented to me?, impartial sources? what the heck are you talking about?

We don't know! Maybe you can tell us?
On a side note......there have been devices with fingerprint scanners in the past.....
I did a similar search for every smartphone and the results were the same. There are numerous threads of complaints about the Galaxy S3 screen being easily scratched.
The iPhone 6 glass has the same Mohs hardness rating as the S3 glass, so your evidence is anecdotal. The most likely substance to scratch glass is sand. That isn't an opinion. It's reality. And it won't be any different with the S6, unless they start making it out of a harder substance, such as sapphire.
Apple invited biometric security using fingerprints?

I bet that's what they say when they sue Samsung. Compared to a rectangle with rounded corners, this is tame.
