So are any of you guys using a screen protector? I almost always use one, but it seems the curved edges are problematic to find screen protectors (no matter the material) that lay down properly.

I bought the Zagg HD Dry shield. Supposedly their easier to apply shield - however in practice it's an absolute nightmare even if you are experienced installing them. It was an exercise in frustration and didn't like the end result at all.

Waiting to get a tempered glass one now.

Oh and I've already got a small micro scratch too despite being in the Samsung flip case from taking out of its box. Bleeding sand particles !!!!

I can't sign up for the Gear VR offer because my IMEI and/or my Mac address is not valid. WTF? I'm positive they're both right.
Use your phone to do the offer. You can copy and paste direct from the settings of the IMEI and Mac address. Makes it easier.

Nope. Not gonna bother. Didn't have one on my S6 Edge+ and not gonna use one on the S7 Edge. Besides, to get a proper curved glass screen protector will likely interfere with any case you have. I'd rather have a case with a lip around the edges (like the Spigen) than a screen protector. I've already dropped my Edge on our hard wood floors with the Spigen on. Not so much as even a little scratch on my phone.

I finally succeeded in submitting the free promo stuff. When do I get the code for Netflix?

SEtting up my S7 Edge now. A beauty.

Naked, no case either. Rolling dice, I know but this gold beauty most be kept that way for awhile at least. I'm undecided what options I what to go with so that has been my decision for now anyways.

So DPI is changed, took care of the color saturation problem with games and my battery life looks to be much better after cutting off bluetooth and wifi scanning.

Seems like a winner to me, those were my issues and I can live with the green lines running down the sides of the display. Only very noticeable at certain viewing angles and dependent on which background.

Its overall size and display are great and the audio playback is more than acceptable as well on my end. The camera I don't really use on smartphones and I'm sure I'd be happy with any snaps I take regardless.

Enjoy folks, congrats to new owners and I hope it works out for you.

I submitted mine the first day of registrations and got the acknowledgement email but nothing since then. It said it could take 6 weeks!

I think end of April is the latest you can submit the Netflix code, too...
[doublepost=1457733313][/doublepost]The finger print scanner is SO much faster and reliable than the S6. I'm loving it.

Did you get the website to register? They will want the IMEI and to upload a copy of the receipt. Let me know if you want me to post the web site for you.

It's kinda dangerous to read this topic after having a few beverages :D Phone lust is kicking in quite badly, especially now with Android N preview out. As my current Android device is an ancient Nexus 5, ordering the S7 Edge is becoming more and more enticing. Not that long ago I would've avoided anything Samsung like a plague, but almost all sources indicate that they've got it mostly right now. If only I had the extra cash :)

I can't seem to find the WiFi always scanning option.

Am I in the right place?

Anticipate 6-8 weeks for the approval to happen, then Samsung will ship you the VR, plus game codes, and you'll get either an email or letter with the Netflix code.

Nope. In fact, one line was jod and the other wasn't and didn't have to pay the tax up front on either. They added $2 onto the monthly eip instead.

OK new promo for you S7 owners. Sorry, US only.

1. Activate Samsung Pay with an eligible credit or debit card.
2. Go buy something from anywhere, regardless of the cost
3. Get instant email for a $30 gift card for places like Nike, Best Buy, Whole Foods, and 2 others.

I picked Best Buy. I now have $50 in gift cards to spend at Best Buy using either Android or Samsung Pay.

Oculus Gear VR games are now being distributed. I just got this email. Chances are, anyone that has submitted their info for the free Gear VR have your games already waiting for you in your account. The email explains how to get them. Take a look:

The games and apps are, Star Chart, Polyrunner VR, Shooting Showdown 2, Herobound: Spirit Champion, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, and Dead Secret

Had my S7 for a few days now and love it. Everything is very smooth and responsive. Battery is great and I don't even need to make sure I charge it overnight anymore. My only complaint is that the screen is too responsive!

I gave the VR a try (I got the 6 free games last night) and it's definitely the right direction. My only complaint is the low-resolution (I guess i'm spoiled by HD and 4k videos).... I'm sure in a couple of years when they put in higher resolution screens, it'll be very realistic and even more immersive.
