Maybe not, though I do know that I'm getting 11-12h of SOT.
11-12? That matches or tops the battery test that tech websites run.

The only way you are getting that is by low intensity apps with your screen on nonstop. It's not normal usage, so don't derail the thread.

I had a 6s plus for a long while. I have a daily routine that involves multitasking, music, and GPS tracking of a lunch run for 30-50 minutes.

By the end of that my 6s plus was always somewhere around 65% battery or a little less.

My s7 edge is closer to 55%-60. So it appears my 6s plus has a little better battery life (it does, it has the best of any phone, but the gap isn't large), but I use my s7 edge more because it can do more in my particular situation.

After said run, my s7 can be back up to 85% or higher on a fifteen minute charge or so. My 6s plue couldn't charge nearly that fast.

So it's a give and take, and screen on time is only half the story. While there were days I would have to baby my 6s plus to get it to last until bed, that rarely happens with the s7 edge. This is due to the combo of slightly inferior battery life, with a much superior charging speed.

Whether or not you consider that normal usage, I don't really care.

None of those apps run in the background.
That has nothing to do with it. Show me where your Screen On Time (SOT) is for your iphone?
It is a common misconception from iphone users. That screenshot shows your phone useage. But IOS doesn't show you the SOT. SOT is different as it is just how time the screen has been on. The display is the biggest power consumer on a phone. So generally that is a good measuring stick. But I am sure you are getting great battery life on your iphone. I have the 6s+ and it gets great battery life.

If you click the clock icon in the battery stats does it not show the screen on time for individual apps?

So by your own stats you only got about 3h 45m~ screen on time?

Doesn't matter. Google it, it's not screen on time. It's up time. Anytime the phone awakes for anything: cell signal, email sync, etc.

It's sleep vs awake.

Have another look.

Sorry didn't mean to quote your post.

That's the most recent 24h. The total standby was 60h.

Good point, then there is no way to tell your screen on time for the 60h.

It's still a guessing game though. It doesn't show the mAh used, nor show awake/background times, nor specific sent/recieve usage.

Also, it ONLY shows usage for select items. A lot is missing. For example: On my iPad mini, last 24 hours is only showing the percentage and on screen time of "Safari" and "Home & Lock Screen". It will not show me the 15 mintues I was within settings with the screen on. And that's just one example.

Yet on my iPhone SE it is showing the SOT for the settings, wierd.

It's werid cause it finally showed up about an half hour later, and also shows "2 min on screen". Which is false cause I been on the settings screen a bit over 10 minutes. And yes, off the charger. Does it poll instead of instant stats?

It doesn't give you the accumulated time app uses for display power usage. Then the data it does show is not realtime. It resets every 24 hours. So it's not very accurate. There is no way to get IOS to display SOT. There are workarounds. But they involve waiting 24 hours then manually adding up all the app display times. It's not accurate or very convenient.
It's just something apple chooses not to display.

Some of those do run with the screen off, like the phone app.

I also said, "awesome battery life", when talking about the S7 Edge, never said it was better than the iPhone Plus. The 6hrs screen time has been the best I ever had on an android phone, it has dethroned the Note 2 for that honor. But the iPhone Plus still get me better battery life.

The S7 Edge battery life though isn't terrible compared to the iphones, I know I DO have both. At the end of the day the iPhone would have an extra 10%-15%.

You can't compare "usage time" on the iPhone with "screen on" time with android, not the same thing. I played audio podcasts for a couple of hours the day I took that screen shot, and the screen was off while they played so that time didn't count, but on the iPhone it would. That's why you can't compare them like that. I had both, and used both at the same time so I can tell you the battery while better on the iPhone, it doesn't make the S7's terrible looking in comparison.
