Man, I got spoiled with the battery of the S7 Edge. Using my Note 5 again and it's not lasting nearly as long now.
impressive your edge is lasting longer than note 5.Man, I got spoiled with the battery of the S7 Edge. Using my Note 5 again and it's not lasting nearly as long now.
Not at the same time, I'll use either one or the other. Had been using the S7 exclusively since launch, but went back to my Note this past weekend, as well as my iPhone 6S Plus, had been using the SE and regular 6S.impressive your edge is lasting longer than note 5.
you still use both then?
You selling your edge when the note 6 is out?Not at the same time, I'll use either one or the other. Had been using the S7 exclusively since launch, but went back to my Note this past weekend, as well as my iPhone 6S Plus, had been using the SE and regular 6S.
Missed some things with Note, the Spen and it's easier to hold, but the battery life and performance of the edge I'm already missing. And some of the improvements that came with marshmallow, such as being able to log into my bank account with my fingerprint and the theme changing the call screen so it's not that bright green color. And of course the waterproofing.
This makes me want the Note 6 even more, as should give me everything and more as it improves on the S7 Edge.
Yup, that's the plan anyway. Of course it all depends on what the Note 6 actually is like when it comes out, but if the rumors are true then that's what I'm doing. You selling your edge when the note 6 is out?
I know me too! Love my N5 but battery and the camera are not quite like the S7. Might have to jump back to the S7 edge and just get a case.Man, I got spoiled with the battery of the S7 Edge. Using my Note 5 again and it's not lasting nearly as long now.
Yup, I have a case but never use it cause it just looks so great without it. I'm hoping MM helps with battery on the Note, of course who knows when at&t is going to release it. The Note 6 I will definitely get the T-Mobile version this time around.I know me too! Love my N5 but battery and the camera are not quite like the S7. I need one for the car.
I also havent been able to figure out how to listen to my audio from Pandora and streaming services through the USB cord versus bluetooth in my car. Is that even possible?
I could do that with my 6s+ but can't seem to get it to work with my S7E.
I actually prefer the colors on my iPhone, though only slightly. I do have my edge and note set to photo mode, I don't like cinema or adaptive as at times the over saturation bothers my eyes.the display on my edge really is stunning. Each time i go back and forth from my edge to my iphone to me at least the quailty is so much better colour wise. Going to Instagram i just look the colour and quailty difference to my iphone. Certainly pros and cons to both phones.
I keep going back and forth on which phone to put my sim in...seems it changes almost everyday. imessage is a factor in this so i can text on my ipad as well. Really should get a sim for my edge I guess.
To me the colours seem too dip for my liking but hey we are all differentI actually prefer the colors on my iPhone, though only slightly. I do have my edge and note set to photo mode, I don't like cinema or adaptive as at times the over saturation bothers my eyes.
The black levels and overall look with curve still set the edge screen ahead of the iPhone though.
So in addition to the false touches that people are getting it is not possible to connect the phone through USB port to your car? Is that what you are saying?

I've never had luck connecting Android phones via USB to a car, usually because the USB port was only designed for iOS devices. Why don't you want to use bluetooth anyways? It's a lot more convenient.Yes that is what I'm saying.
I can connect my S7e to my truck via cable and it will play all my music. My truck doesn't have BT btwI've never had luck connecting Android phones via USB to a car, usually because the USB port was only designed for iOS devices. Remember that that output of those car USB ports are around 500mAh, compared to 2400mAh+ from a dedicated car charger. You're lucky enough for it to not drain more than it can get fr your cars USB port, and if you are navigating then forget it! Pickup a car Quickcharge charger instead. It's not that I mind the BT at all but if I am plugging in my phone each time I get in for a charge, I enjoyed the convenience of it also playing the music versus now a popup comes up every single time on the S7E asking if permission for the device, there is a long delay, then it plays this weird Samsung on the horizon song or something from the phone so then i have to switch it to BT.
First world problems I know but its a major pain in the a**![]()

I use the regular charging cable. My 16 Ram truck 4x4 has a USB charging port in the center console. This port also connects to the factory stereo. It will let me browse music and playlists on my phone. I haven't tried video yet but that might work too. The stereo has a 10 inch display panel...i might try video today and see if that works too. I haven't had the truck long.....i just got a couple weeks ago.Do you use an auxiliary cable?

I jumped from the S7e to a Note 5...but jumped back last night. Battery and camera are just so much better on the S7e.
It should work. I doubt there is much difference between our vehicles tbh. It starts playing as soon as I connect it. But then I have to show it where the music is then it doesn't have a problem. I can select my playlists on my phone after that. Mine doesn't have bluetooth but I might upgrade it as BT is soooo much easier. I just use the stock cable the phone comes with. Try and see if that works.I have a '15 Dodge Durango and same set up with UConnect and such. The iPhone worked perfect with the charging cable and AppleMusic.
Not the same so far with Samsung and the charging cord.
Maybe I will try a different cord and see if that is it?
I think it is easier with iphones too. I think all OEMs have ipod compatibility builtin to all vehicles when the ipod was such a big hit a few years ago.
I have my Note 5 rooted and it lasts just as long or sometimes longer then my S7 Edge does.Man, I got spoiled with the battery of the S7 Edge. Using my Note 5 again and it's not lasting nearly as long now.
