Man, you guys aren't making it easy. What's worse is I'm constantly getting emails with deals on the S7.

Don't trust everything a marketing team puts out ...

(They have an invested interest to make the competition look bad)

....
Updated with better video ..

Re : multitasking for those that were asking me earlier what apps i have. I just did a quick check on my Moto X Force of apps currently running / backgrounded and I have 16 here currently and there is nothing extraordinary about them. But likewise absolutely no trouble multitasking between them without refreshing. Here's a quick fly through ...

Ignore the crappy video quality though ;)

This is with the Moto X Force which has 3gb ram ..
Actually mru those pics where taken during a live video. They had all 4 phones infront of the camera snapping the pic at the same exact time. So I think I can safely conclude it is legit. If I find the video link I will send it.

Sod it .... I've ordered a black S7 edge from Amazon ....

I blame you all ...

Oh my lord!

OK cool but you have to sign an agreement that you're not allowed to complain about the device losing 50% of its value after 6 months, because YOU KNOW ALL OF THIS ALREADY!!

But let us know how it is :)

Does anyone think that Samsung may enable adoptive storage at some point?
[doublepost=1456315413][/doublepost]It's a shame that the S7 edge is not available in silver in the UK. It is the best colour.

Wait for details about the Note 6? If the base model is 64 GB with micro SD it would make the decision easy.

The 32 GB option really is the only deal breaker for me on the s7
Well it has a micro SD card slot so I think 32GB would be ok for me, particularly as I would be keeping my 128GB iPhone 6s plus. I had a note 3 with 32GB and a 128GB micro SD card. Although I always prefer in built storage to external storage, I can't say that I ran into storage problems. I just kept my apps on the internal memory and stuffed the SD card with media.

I gotta ask again: Are you able to designate in settings where your media saves to, for example when taking pictures or videos? Can I set it to automatically save to the micro SD?

I would hate to have to move stuff over manually.

I am pretty sure you can set the options to save to internal or external storage. I remember with the N4 you could and the LG V10 you could as well. Those are the last two phones I had with SD cards I l know for music and video and pictures I set the default to be the sd cards.

same here, I much prefer built in. And while I could get by with 32, I'd rather not spend big dollars on a flagship phone and then have to be somewhat selective in what I install.

I have no idea why Samsung would only release one storage option. Only thing stupider was the Note 5, no sd support, and up until a short time ago you could only get the 32GB model in Canada.

I think it was a smart move for Samsung. Nobody is going to get turned away and turned off, cause their carrier is out of stock on a lower or higher storage version. And one version one price, will actually contribute to impulse buys vs consumers second guessing. Just my opinion though. I wonder what sales are going to be like.

I just watched the S7 ad and putting aside the very Apple-ish style of it, I was really amazed by the edge to edge screen and resolution of the S7, the battery capacity, expandable memory and the waterproof resistance (as someone who brings the phone to the bathroom to listen to music while showering, being able to change a song without needing to dry my hands sounds good). Not interested in always on display and "wireless" charging, two gimmick features for the features chart. Not liking the protruding home button and camera.

In the end I think this will make Apple try harder to offer a much better phone, which ultimately benefits me, the Apple customer. Good job, Samsung.

I think people didn't buy the 64GB and 128GB versions of the S6/S6 for edge which is why they are not offering them anymore.

Why preorder so quickly? I do not think demand ever has exceeded supply with Samsung smart phones right off the bat.

The extra goodies stand no matter when you preorder as far as I know. Samsung would be foolish to limit that.

Because some of us already made up our minds.

Barring any major phone release, I plan on using my s7 edge until the new note 6 arrives. Rinee and repeat unless something better pops up on T-Mobile. JOD saves me a lot of money with my inability to avoid purchasing new phones.

I do kind of wish Sony would get its act together. I don't think I would pick the xperia x performance over the s7, but they make some nice phones.

The free gear VR is upto March 10th ...

We don't get any other goodies / offers here unless carrier specific.
