Lawsuits prove that there is a problem Apple doesn't give a **** about.iFixit was the company who made Touch Disease public.I commend them for it .I doubt Apple will initiate a recall Considering the amount of time this issue has persisted forYou don't know that. Pure speculation that is why citation is needed.

Lawsuits are inevitable and what does ifixit have to do with this?
Or wait till Apple announces its recall policy for those wanting a repair of their iPhone 6.

Actually had to check what thread this is: iPhone 6 issues or galaxy s8 might be aborted.Lawsuits prove that there is a problem Apple doesn't give a **** about.iFixit was the company who made Touch Disease public.I commend them for it .I doubt Apple will initiate a recall Considering the amount of time this issue has persisted for
No for both.It requires a fraction of the smartphone price to get the battery replaced.
Bro don't you know how things work here yet? Every thread is a touch disease thread. That's the only ammo they have against iPhones nowadays and boy do they use it oftenActually had to check what thread this is: iPhone 6 issues or galaxy s8 might be aborted.
Interesting. They need to do something to regain trust and the customers they lost. I'm not sure their rich feature set is enough anymore, for some people they lost to IPhone and Pixel, anyway. This would truly be going above and beyond if Sammy does this.

Error53,hissgate,planned obsolescence lawsuits, laggy animations.Dont worry we do have a lot of ammo against Apple. Its just this one is used because, you know,it bricks the phone

I see this sentiment expressed over and over online but I have to disagree. How can a phone with such a catastrophic flaw be considered 'best phone of the year'? Yes, I understand that the follow up statement to that is, 'Well, when working, it offered the best combination of design, functionality, and performance' but that statement itself specifically speaks to the conundrum. Something in that very design is what caused it to be the failure that it's become. So, no, it cannot be the best designed phone of the year if that design itself isn't actually functional.
I know I said it somewhere else previously in jest but this very well could have been a situation where too little bezel is actually a bad thing. I personally think in their race to make a device with that big of a display in such a small package, they tried to fit too much and it lead to this result (yes, this is purely blind speculation by me).
While I'm not a fan of Samsung's mobile devices, I seriously hope they can get their stuff together in this regard because the industry needs Samsung to keep push limits, forcing the competition to up their game (<cough> Apple <cough>). I hope they have enough sense to not force out the S8 prematurely because while I think they can certainly bounce back from this Note 7 debacle, if the same thing happened again, their mobile division would be done for.
Well to put it more specifically, in case it wasn't obvious, the Note 7 *would have* been the best phone of 2016 if it didn't explode. I know it's a lot of nuance to grasp, but it can be done. Disclaimer: Just my personal opinion, the best phone is what that consumer likes and spends their money on.

Think the note 7 without a doubt has the best features of any phone. Which were very clever. Like folder mode and what you could do with the S pen. Just the software, lack of updates and the odd lag has always been there on samsung devices. Personally the iphone is the best phone around for my needs now. Performance, reliability and how it works with everything. Updates is big as well how all devices are supported. Everybody is different with different needs. The whole issue with note 7 has been a disaster as it was an amazing device. Just hard for me to trust them anytime soon now after this. Which is hard as I have had the note 3, 4, S4, S6, S7 edge.Well to put it more specifically, in case it wasn't obvious, the Note 7 *would have* been the best phone of 2016 if it didn't explode. After years of this, it's getting harder and harder to read text without spacing after punctuation. For all the complaining about barely noticeable dropped frames in a few obscure places, how does something like that just not pop off the screen each time?Error53,hissgate,planned obsolescence lawsuits, laggy animations.Dont worry we do have a lot of ammo against Apple. Its just this one is used because, you know,it bricks the phone

What does Apple's keyboard do--deletes spacing somehow? Don't think others have run into that.Blame Apple's keyboard. That public beta keyboard fixed it.But on my 7 Plus I am not on public beta
That's the entire point. A side comment was introduced into the conversation and the off-topic talk is now being continued (and reinforced). He made a side comment on Touch Disease. And you only replied to the part about Touch Disease so the one who tried to drag this thread off topic is you

You are saying that because some keyboards might potentially have some options to put a space after punctuation it's the fault of a keyboard for not putting a space in automatically? It's the keyboard's fault. I am using the Gboard keyboard typing this and the spacings automatically appear.
On a side note I love the stealth look it gives for my black iPhone 7

Some optional features might be nice somewhere, but if you are just doing regular typing with a regular keyboard seems like it's up to the user to use the space bar appropriately that's part of normal typing.
Alternatively it seems like there are options to use keyboards that support that kind of thing if that is the desired typing style.
I just tested this out using Gboard and it doesn't automatically add spacing after punctuation, at least not when typing regularly. If you use glide/swipe that might be the case, or perhaps if predictive words are used, but that's certainly something different and wouldn't (and doesn't seem to) apply to regular typing. Same seems to apply to SwiftKey.All 3rd party keyboards do it. So does Swiftkey. On Android all keyboards have it
