I would post something of me being interesting, but...I'm not really that interesting. I could post stuff of me at football games though, but that's more scary than interesting...BTW, Nicee video ;) :D
Heh. I know how that can be. I don't even think there are any videos of me doing anything. Hell, I think the most recent picture of me is 3 years old. Unless you could the picture of me that's floating around when we were playing Pretty Pretty Princes. I won, by the way.

And Emerson...Jesus...how do you do that? I'd fall and break my neck...

I'm with you on the photo thing too. I have probably only about 20 pictures of me in the past 10-12 years.

Fantasies and Fetishes might as well be the same thing, as far as I'm concerned.

If they aren't then I have no fetishes :).

Fetishism

Interesting topic.
I wonder if you can have a fetish, when not acted upon?
And the point goes to......... Emerson

Fetish (n.)
1
An inanimate object worshipped for it's supposed magical powers or because it is considered to be inhabited by a spirit.
2
A form of sexual desire in which gratification is linked to an abnormal degree to a particular object, part of the body, or activity.
3
A course of action to which one has an excessive and irrational commitment.
Origin

Just got back from an extremely fulfilling night of dancing.

I only danced for 3 and a half hours but I danced passionately. I am drenched in sweat :p. My legs were on fire almost the whole time, but I was having such a good time that I just couldn't stop. I feel so satisfied right now :).

I even paid *gasp* $15 to get in :(.

I love dancing at 'Heaven' because the crowd is so young. I know that I always say that I'm into older men, but they just don't dance as well (there are exceptions, of course ;)). There is an increadible amount of energy at Heaven. I danced on stage most of the time, because I prefer to dance alone unless it's with a hot guy :).

As to the handstand pushups - I have good balance from years of gymnastics (but that didn't help me all that much, I never actually recieved any training, just self teaching), 3 years of recreational diving, 2 years of competitive diving, years upon years of martial arts (kung fu and wushu, mostly), and a lifetime of general acrobatics.

I'll record myself doing a backflip if y'all want :p.

Oh, I left out an important one. I'm a wee bit obsesed with vocals, so voice is important to me. I can't stand the gay lisp for the most part.

Tenor/high voices on big guys is a huuuuuge turn on for me.

Bass/Deep Voices on a big guy is also a huge turn on.

A raspy deep voice is also good. For example, Vin Diesel.

I'm really attracted to Vin Diesel :(, it's kind of pathetic. Everytime I see him interviewed he is such a sensitive, nice guy, I love that. Physically he is very hot. I took the liberty of making a collage :) (notice the muscular body, but he doesn't have a 6 pack or less than 3% body fat, etc. This amt. of muscle isn't necessary. :p ):

His smile can be a little bit crooked, which is adorable. His ears stick out a little, which is also adorable. His voice is deep and rhaspy, which I like. He seems very sensitive and kind. Total hottie. :)

_Emerson

OK- first of all, Vin Diesel has one if the worst gay lisps I've ever heard! What are you talking about? I saw him on Leno one night and was like-what big ol' girl he is! And don't even get me started on his hand gestures. Trust me- Vin is family. :) And yes- he IS hot.

Sounds god to me. I hope between you and Place - you all should come up with a place that would be nice in the Boystown area.

Honestly-most of the restaurants in Boystown suck. There is a really nice French place near your hotel in Lincoln Park though.

The whole dancing video didn't work out, and I deleted all my handstand pushup videos but I really wanted to post a video so I just went ahead and recorded myself doing some handstand pushups just now. I think others should have to post vids of themselves doing something interesting now :). It's only fair.

enjoy :) (5.1MB)

It doesn't look like I'm going down very far from the video :p, and I suppose I'm not, but when your whole body weight is on your arm muscles it feels like your going waaay down ;).

_Emerson

Em- you're such a goofball! :)

Well I will have to trust you on restaurants. Reminder I will be at the Days Inn at Deversy and Clark. So I hope that PlaceofDis and you can come up with something (if you don't mind another MR member joining in). Like hole-in-the-wall type places with good food (the Pork Shop Cafe in the Haight area of SF comes to mind).

Yeah, yeah, I'm sure you are. I can be coerced into believing anything with a large dollop of southern charm.

Speaking of PlaceofDis, he's supposed to meet me at the roller derby tonight. He better show up.

I don't hear the lisp. Carson from Queer Eye has the lisp :p. But, yeah, I think he's family :).

Roller Derby? Are those back? Is it a Gay Roller Derby? I remember seeing them on TV in the late 70s -- when I was a kid, of course. :p

Ohh... Jeez, I needa catch up on some language.
Yes, there are all kinds of phrases to basically say "He's Gay." Here are two others I can think of...

- Friend of Judy (Garland)

- Light in the Loafers

...there are others, maybe we can start a list.

scem0 said:
I don't get the Judy Garland obsession.
It's because she was a gay icon to a different generation of gay people in this country. First there was Judy, then Barbra, then Bette Midler, then Cher, then Madonna, etc. etc. You should read up on the Stonewall Riots which happened here in NYC in 1969 -- and also kicked off the Gay Rights movement in this country. Judy Garland's death was partially a catalyst for the riots. The gays and drag queens were in mourning, and in no mood for a police raid one fateful night in the Village.

I hope this kind of history does not become lost on the younger generation of gay people in this country. Most people who participate in Gay Pride parades these days are totally unaware of the origins of that parade, which was a protest march that started as a result of the Stoneweall Riots in NYC.
