This thread is now even gayer than it was before.

AHH!, So relieved. Found out today (through a means we set up just incase his parents went nuts on him again) that he didn't get grounded because of me, and his parents still don't know a thing. AHH! *let's out a DEEEP breath* Turns out he made a 19 in math (OUCHH!) and his friend had a lil' wrong incomplete info. *jumps around with joy* YAYAYA So, it's only til he gets that 19 up. :D

Wow you can sure tell who is cross-dressing in those images - and my friend's mom taught me how to pick them out if they have their arms to their side (of who is and isn't).

BTW Outsiders - good movie

Just adding to the gayness ... (the stereotypical type, anyway)

That's good to hear, just a storm in one of Gekko's tea cups. It might be a good idea to be like a Boy Scout and 'Be Prepared' and for him to get his own cell though. No 'sticks and stones' support needed. Chrome is a bit kitsch anyway (for the GayWay)

A assume the 19 was out of 100. Hell, I only scraped through in Math, didn't really matter though, 'cause I was expelled from college at 16. But as they say, that's a whole another story. Didn't seem to hold me back though. Guy's can do anything attitude helped a lot there. Now, if I hadn't been so shy...

Don't know if you guys have been in the Mac Rumors Pics thread lately, but I had dinner with Chip NoVaMac and PlaceofDis last night. It was great! We had really good conversation and took some pics as well. It was so cool to finally meet face-to-face. They are both great guys. Chip is a very warm, sweet man and PlaceofDis, well-HOT. ;)

Holy good kisser batman!

I remember seeing a few of these floating around a while back.
There were quite a few Lord of the Rings ones. Frodo and sam, Merry and Pip, Legolas and Aragorn, Aragorn and Boromir, Boromir and Legolas; They were all there :)

Speaking of lord of the rings, am i the only one that had the urge to shout out 'kiss him, you fool' whenever Sam and Frodo or Merry and Pip looked into each others eyes so longingly :)

Zaid, I know exactly what you mean, except the the only just withheld comments were a little more pointed that your 'kiss him, you fool' In our newfound PC'd circumspectly biased GayWay, I'd have just held back 'Bed him you Schmuck' Oh Dear, I said 'Schmuck' is that allowed? Blushing very red when I think of the Yiddish that it's derived from. Should I edit, will I be banned, have I caused the great wasteland to descend upon us like the plagues of yore. Oh, WTF, post and be damned yet again.

I'm back :D.

Where should I start?

Me getting banned - I wrote about that on my blog, so I won't go into too much detail. I was asking for it. "Rules are rules but reality is reality" is how I ended my blog post, and I think that sums up my opinion. Anyways, I had a bunch of homework due yesterday and today, and I definitely wouldn't have gotten it done had I been able to post :p, so it was a blessing in disguise. Thanks for all the kind words everyone, they are very much appreciated.

Jamba Juice - Love it! There is one a block or two away from my dorm that I have to pass every morning before school. I wish they were more affordable, 5 bucks for a smoothie is a bit steep for me . Hopefully I will have more time next semester to work, I've been talking to the higher-ups at my school and it looks like I'll have an interesting schedule next semester because I'm planning on transferring out of my current program. Anyways, I'm rambling. I used to get the Peanut Butter Moo'd which is horrible for you, but now I get the strawberries wild without the ice cream, much better for you and doesn't leave you feeling bogged down. I usually get the energy boost, but I've always wanted to get the femme boost just to see the sales person's reaction :).

Frozone's situation - So sorry to hear that your friend's family is close minded :(. He definitely needs to get out of his parent's sphere of influence. Having him secretly get a cell phone sounds like a great idea. Maybe one of those pay as you go in cash phones to avoid bills, etc. Anyways, best of luck regarding you and your friend, it's an unfortunate situation :(.

My life - I went to Avalon and had an adventure. I was dumb and I regret what I did, but It's not granny-safe. Blog :).

Lee, Chip, Place - wish I could have been there, sounds like it was a great time.

Oh, Lee, I just left an audio comment for Patrick, Noah, and Scott :). I sounded really dumb, but I tend to sound that way on the phone .

Feels great to be back,

_Emerson

Welcome back!

Good thing to see that the thread has regained one of its most vital posters :) . Hope that things are gonna get back to normal (well, near-normal, now that it's gotta be granny-safe  ). Oh, and by near-normal I mean hyperactive like before :D (it's just that in the last few days there haven't been as many posts).

Hi sweetie! Glad you're back. Now behave yourself. :)

Yeah- Chip and PlaceofDis were fun. We had a really nice time and I know I'll be seeing PlaceofDis at the roller derby. :) I'm sure Patrick, Noah and Scott will like your comment. They're very silly boys.

Sounds like a good time was had by all. Now all we need is for Chip to upload the photos and to post a link.

Sorry to hear that you were banned scem0. Welcome back. Good to hear that you have a positive attitude about the whole thing. At least your back for the big day tomorrow.

Alcohol: Beer, whiskey and gin.
Non-alcohol: Jamba Juice and Vitamin Water.

And the occasional glass of wine! :D

Yes, I am back!

As I promised Lee and Tim, here are the pics from our dinner.

Also here are the links to my galleries from my weekend in Chicago:

Had a great time in Chicago. Not perfect (except for Sunday dinner with Lee & Tim and the Sox's winning that night - watched most of the game at Roscoe's in Boystown); but still had a great time!

Day 1 (Sunday) was great weather! Covered a lot of ground from my Deversy and Clark hotel.

Day 2 was rainy in the morning, which changed my plans for the Architectural Boat Tour till the next day. Had to do the Hancock Building (missed the opportunity to go up to the top of the WTC back on my trip to NYC in Spring of 2001 - figuring I would be back) - seize the day (or chance) is my new motto. Did not matter that the weather was less then what I wanted. Did twist my ankle on some wet grating that early afternoon. Did not bother me much on Day 2. So I went back to Millennium Park that evening to enjoy the now clear skies.

On Day 3, my ankle was really starting to get to me. I looked forward to having the river cruise. Bummer was that they changed the time from the day before! I even asked if they did the cruise the next day at 11AM (had a flight out at 3PM, and wanted to give myself time) - well they wouldn't set sail till 11:30AM, and that was cutting it close for me (was relying on CTA) - well another reason to revisit Chicago! So I did some hobbling around the Navy Pier instead to kill time before my flight.

Funny side note. On my CTA Blue Line trip from O'Hare, I met two couples visiting from Florida. To my surprise we ran into each other near the Hancock on that rainy morning on Day 2! I guess it would have been stranger if I ran into them in Boystown (these were Str8 couples).

And a side rant, what is it with the pity on solo travelers? These two couples expressed sadness that I was alone in Chicago. As you can see I covered a lot of ground. I doubt that Lee or Tim would have been willing to keep up with my pace for these three days. :D

Aw, you don't have Jamba Juice! It's a company ("fast food") that makes smoothies with all natural ingredients and they are very, very good. They come in a variety of flavors and they're great!
-Chase

They seem to be the Starbucks of the juice set in Chicago.

Side note: just dawned on me that I missed hitting a White Castle. Never saw one in my travels in Chicago.

glad you enjoyed your trip Chip!

sorry the weather was less than perfect, it happens here though. i saw that you were at Navy Pier, how did you find it to be? (thats where my stores are btw, hence why i am asking).

you did cover a lot of ground, i would have loved to be able to have been able to go with you one some of those trips, but family and work called sadly.

i hope that you come back and for a longer stay next time around. soooo much to see and do here.

I'll keep those quotes in mind. :) Thanks

It sounds as if he needs someone to reach to you, and you are it. Which is a good thing.

You might want to see about MAYBE putting him in your plan (if you think you can trust him) and get him his own phone. Not sure of the dynamics, but he seems to be afraid of cutting the cord between him and his parents.

That being said, you should just let him know how to get in touch with you when he wants to. Otherwise the ball is in his court IMO. And I mean for life in general.
