Well, I'm not a big drinker, I normally prefer mind-altering substances of a different kind. But, when I do booze it up, I like tequila. It's the most kind to me the next day, and gives me a very pleasing, long-lasting buzz.iAlan said:While on the topisc of alcohol, what is your fav drink - alcoholic or non-alcoholic. On the non-alcoholic side I would say sparkling mineral water (not Perrier though - just don't like it for some reason). I am not a tea or coffee drinker (I really hate the taste so that included tiramisu, coffee chocolates, etc...) and I used to drink way to much soda, so sparkling water is what I's drinking. Flat water just doesn't do it for me.
Yes, but I might have to throw you down and have my way with you, and then buy you a drink.bousozoku said:I'd ask how big you are (big drinker) but then, I'd have to moderate myself.![]()
The Macophot didnt turn out, the Kodak HIE did turn out.Grey Beard said:Hey Neil, Looks like you and I may be the only sober ones here. Emo'll be back before too long I guess. And meantimes I guess it's business as usual, If Paul's right just the usual outpourings, and not enough sex, drugs or sarcasm for him. How'd the IR photographs come out? Been looking at a .Mac of Zaid's to run the raunchy stuff on, but one or two hiccups to see to. Lee or Zaid may have more info. Ah well time for a tea I think (5.20pm Sunday in NZ)

MontyZ, For a change I can honestly say I haven't had a drink since Wednesday last. Kind of screws with my medications, but I did have two Tall Blondes then. It's an organic beer brewed by 'Founders' here in NZ. A great summer ale, and they do a near stout / porter called a Long Black, great in winter, And for an option there is a Red Head to round out the triumvirate. In the spirit line I've been known to quaff a dram or three of Chivas Regal. To avoid temptation I don't keep alcohol at home, so I may just have to resort to an alternative substance.MontyZ said:Okay, Kevin, are you sure you're not drunk?? WTF??!?!?111
Neil, I really like the composition and the infra red does give it, it's own character. Any idea what went wrong with the macophot?neildmitchell said:The Macophot didnt turn out, the Kodak HIE did turn out.
I so far have only gotten the contact sheet for the Kodak.
The image is a scan of a sago Palm tree (How typical, right) from the contact sheet.
So please excuse the roughness of the imageg
What's jamba juice? Is it some kind of exotic fruit? Sounds interesting.leekohler said:Alcohol: Beer, whiskey and gin.

rendezvouscp said:Aw, you don't have Jamba Juice! It's a company ("fast food") that makes smoothies with all natural ingredients and they are very, very good. They come in a variety of flavors and they're great!

The Macophot developed as completely blank, except for one image that is barely visible. I shot the roll at 2:30 in the afternoon, so there was plenty of light, but I was shooting in the light shade of the tree canopies using the R72 filter, so maybe the light wasnt strong enough with the filter on, but Im not happy with that conclusion, something else went wrong, since I used the Kodak at the for a few shots inside of a hotel, where the light was really low and the pics came out. The other possibility was the film was over developed, and the developing solution washed the film clean (I think that is more likely ) But then I also think that the camera store also might be playing me since I bought both rolls of film there, The Maco. was $9 a roll and the Kodak $17, So Im thinking if that IS truely the case that they are playing me, they are trying to get me to buy only the more expensive film.Grey Beard said:Neil, I really like the composition and the infra red does give it, it's own character. I really must get back to my art and photography, but I'm such a bloody procrastinator. The therapy aspect alone should be a motivator, but I've lost interest in damn near everything at present.

And, now i'm just lost. I don't have a freaking clue what to do. I wanna talk to him SO bad. Even if only being able to say hey once in a while, it's better than nothing. But, I know for his sake I should let things go and let him be. Try and forget him so that I will stop ruining his life where his parents are concerned. It's been almost a year now since we first met, so even tho it sounds like all this happened really really quick, it's actually been a pretty long drawn out thing. But, any advice from people in the know about what to do? Let it go? Don't give up?! GAHH! I'm lost.![]()
Grey Beard said:Frozone,
Yeah I can relate to your troubles, and while the first thing that comes to mind is for you to sit in your favourite hot room with a heap of ice !
Second thing, does he have a cell phone, and for that matter, do you? With some cell plans you can have unlimited calls at night for example. In NZ text messaging is 'de rigueur' Hell, even I use it all the time for texts to Thailand et al. So, with cells you'd be able to stay in touch with both words and talk.
Thirdly, Don't Ever Give Up !!!
Hope this may help in some small way.

OK, so you're half way there. Y'all just have to suss out how to get him his own cell and you'll be home free. Another thought is if he'd be able to meet you online via an Internet Cafe, or from a friends house while you sort things out.Frozone said:Well, I have a cell phone and that's what I would talk to him on. And he "shares" a cell phone with his dad. Which is what he used half the time to talk, (Whole lot safer than his house phone.) I miss him already
BTW, I see you've not forgotten the ice thing... lol

Yeah, how could I forget one of the sweetest fetishes in the thread, at the time I thought of the book 'The Iceman Cometh' quite a classic in it's time. Anyway, you just hang in there, and you'll find a way.

LoL, I'm not sure abou the "sweetest" fetish. Maybe one of the weirder fetishes tho. I've never met nor heard of anyone with the same fetish. Should prove fun someday, though.
Oh, What's that bit at the end of your post mean?
