yea, I saw your post earlier. But it's working fine on 4.1. Actually it's working fine on 4.3 too cause before when I picked up the gevey sim, The guy was setting up for a whole bunch of peoples. they're on both 4.2 and 4.3 firmware.

I see. I don't understand why they don't show a little better how their product works.

I wish I knew when the Dev team unlock is coming out. I need to unlock my phone for a trip late next week but might have to end up getting this instead. Please post more experiences with it...

You should consider this to be a good way to unlock your phone. The software unlock is not gonna arrive the next few weeks, that is for sure.

You can buy a Gevey SIM for $30 + shipping costs and have an unlocked iPhone within a week.

Thanks for the link. I ordered 4 units to try them out.

Please let us know once you get them...I wouldn't mind 30 bucks plus shipping, 70 is a bit steep for me though, pricing sounds a bit too good to be true though considering every other store I have seen has them for 70+

I have ordered from Sunsky before, they are absolutely legit. You can use PayPal if you are worried about that. As for why they are so "cheap" you are buying directly from the source in China as opposed to a shop here in the USA which had to get them from a middleman and is marking them up big time on opportunity as well.

Exactly, I have bought a lot of stuff from them and it was all good, and extremely cheap.

Although I would like if they would ship my items sooner, it takes about 5 days for them just to ship the damn thing. I bought Gevey SIM last Sunday and the salesperson said they would ship it next Friday :(

Yep, pretty typical, unless you are willing to pay for express shipment from China, which isn't very practical unless you are a reseller.

Hmm, so, I can either spend about $35 and wait for at least 2 weeks or $75 on ebay and get it by the end of the week...decision...decision:confused:

where did you pick it up from?

I have to thank kaikai830, for pointing me out to the guy in Chinatown in NYC who is reselling them for $75.

I wouldn't have picked one up but when I heard that he would actually test it out and set it up for you BEFORE you bought it, I had to try it.

They have to be pretty confident, if they are letting you see it work before you buy it.

Thanks again kaikai830!

No problem, glad I could help.
Also I just spoke with the guy I bought my sim from and he guaranteed me that the place selling the gevey sim for $30 are fakes. He told me that he bought a few thousand pieces direct from Gevey and it cost him more than that. Plus he said that only one company makes that microchips for the gevey sim and they're all sold out, so you won't be getting any fake ones anytime soon.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)

I'm waiting mine, and I have a question for who had and tested it already. How is the battery life after unlocking with the Turbo Sim? Is it normal or it runs out faster? Anyone has problems or anything? Thanks.

Well, Sunsky is a legit site and they have said it is in fact Gevey. They always answer every question so if it's a fake then we will just claim a refund.

Don't you think that this guy is just saying that to profit? Just saying

True, you could always ask for a refund. I'm just posting what the guy told me but it does makes sense because every other places is selling double what they're selling. And I know for a fact that they do have fake gevey sim in the previous version. So I'm just wondering.
