I don give a crap about the iPhone anymore. It's overkill. I'll be perfecty happy with an iPod touch. Everytime I go out and feel the need to tweet something and there's no wifi around, I'll remind myself that I'm paying nothing, and I'll smile to myself. There's an offline Twitter app where you can save tweets for later. I may just do that.

I didn't post this thread to see how many comments I could get... I thought I had some valid points. Some people on here get mad at me because I have different views than most people.

What's your twitter BTW?

You probably have some valid points for some people. Just not for me.

I used to have an iPod touch, and I totally hated the fact that I wasn't always online. I don't have that frustration anymore now that I have an iPhone. To add to that, what used to be three pieces of hardware - a cellphone, an Nintendo DS, and a digital camera - is now one, plus the Internet 24/7. It's easily worth the extra monthly bill the iPhone incurs.

But again, YMMV, and I have no problem with different people having different opinions.

No, we get sick of your attention whoring and constant negativity. If you're really done with the iPhone, then you have absolutely no reason to post here. That you continue to do so is proof that your only purpose here is stir up trouble. There is a name for people who do that.

I tried the whole "I'll just carry my ipod touch around and pretend its an iphone" gig but to be honest, it just wasn't working for me.

Justify and rationalize how you will. To me its worth $100/month. To you, it isn't. Big f'in deal, to each his own.

Yep: Troll.

I reported his latest thread called, to some effect, "throwing the towel in", as a duplicate of two other threads he has created (which I referenced with links) in the month that are on the same subject - moaning about the iPhone and talking about switching to a dumbphone + Touch. The first referenced thread was locked.

He should have been put in time-out and the thread just deleted. Instead, all three threads were merged into this one which simultaneously has been bumped and themes from the original locked thread are now being quoted AGAIN.

MODERATION TO THE PEOPLE!!

Wow. I just finished reading the whole 16 pages. I kinda knew what to expect with threads started by TheSpaz but for some reason I can't stop...

The only thing I agree with him on is the bad QC apple has with the iphone. It's absolutely atrocious. I don't need a "genius" telling me that the reason my screen is much yellower than the ALL the demo sets is because apple orders panels from different suppliers.

That isn't my damn problem and it shouldn't be.

I've bought macbooks & ipods from them and have no had a single issue with QC. With the iphone I've had to return my first 3g twice because of display and a year later had the exact same problem with my 3GS.

Is it automatic trolling if I disagree with an Apple product?... Please.

Nobody is forcing you to read this thread or respond to it. I didn't do it for the attention... Honestly. I just thought other people might feel the same way.

And of the 384 posts, how many of them agreed with you?

And does it make any difference, really? You're going to do what you're going to do, right? What possible difference could it make if other people agree with you? Or do you need the comfort of knowing you are not alone?

It might be time to either defecate or egress the facilities.

And yet you continue to not only read but contribute to every thread you whine about, if only to bitch about the existance of the thread to which you just contributed. There's a name for people who do that, too. Go play cop where there someone that gives a ****, for a change.

?

People who have a complaint about what they read should never voice that complaint in an open forum, right?

And you expressed this thought as a complaint against something you read in an open forum, on that selfsame forum?

Does the dichotomy escape you here?

Whoa, TheSpaz provides at least 15% of my MacRumors enjoyment. I know I'm not alone in this. We can't let him ditch his iPhone. I move that the membership pay his monthly bill. :D

Kinda defeats the purpose of Twitter doesn't it?

I'm kind of excited to see what he gets obsessed with next! His new tv? A camera? Think of the options! :p

I'm sure within hours of obtaining his next gadget, he'll fine the teeniest tiniest defect and obsess about it on whatever related forum will allow him to post about. Over, and over, and over, and over....

I already pity those forum users. :(
