??? Have had this for months on my Nex7 and S3 running custom ROMs. I clear a notification on one and within a minute or so, it is gone off the other and the notification led stops blinking on my S3. Both are on 4.2.2. I thought this was a standard feature in 4.2.x?
available after Verizon has had a chance to release their S4 version....But why get that one when this one is coming soon?

The average consumer is going to be VERY confused about the same phone with different software on it. I can't wait to see their reactions.

I don't understand this though......you have to think a Nexus 5 that's released later this year will have similar specs AND be priced MUCH lower.....
Confused as to the reason behind this release. Don't get me wrong, its cool and Touchwiz is the main reason I would never touch a Samsung phone, so one which runs Vanilla Android is MUCH more enticing.....

Yep exactly.
I just wish they allowed us - the consumer - to choose which OS we would like when we first launch our handsets - or offer easy way to flip between the two via an application on our computers that would download either stock or manufacturers GUI.
