I would think it will sell fast now if you are willing to lose a little bit. Maybe sell it for $650-675.

Id be fine with the 4a 5G but i would like to have the wireless charging w/ the P5 but only if it is on sale during the hollidays.
Size wont matter in either case. 6.0....or 6.2",..... the way they are built the 6.2" 4a 5G wont be much bigger than my GS9 was.
First I want to wait until the headphone claim is actually confirmed and second, you can still make a claim for them if you purchase up to and including 19th Oct.

People are selling their upgrades on eBay for £550 sealed. Although mine isn't tied to a contract and I also have the colour (sage) that sold out most places.

I disagree the Pixel phones bar none take the best portraits. Here are a few from an iPhone X and iPhone 11 Pro. These look as good as the Pixel 5.

The kids hair has been missed at the top.
I find the Pixel to be very good with its software at capturing the portrait subject better.

Also, the bottom pic has a very yellow haze. It's a nice clear picture, nothing wrong with it at all but it does have that iPhone yellow hue which I personally am not a fan of.

Both good pictures though.

Until you compare the two same pics side by side. But then I'm not a photographer so I'm not that picky. I don't usually buy a phone because if it's camera. Only if the camera is bad, then I'll pass.

This guy is so talented. I’m always blown away by his videos.
He took a lot of pics to show but other than that, I don't really see what's so talented about him. Seems like many others I've seen.

Mrwhosetheboss did a video of a screen background that messes up your phone and did a lot of research as to why it happens and explained it. That was interesting and informative, but talented? I guess he has a soothing voice lol. You might like him better.

Sorry I wouldnt but a iPhone mini for that price with the 2010 bezels. The front of it is a joke.

IDK, for me it's not about the specs. The 4a works just fine and it's quick. It takes pics instantly so don't know what this neutral core delay is about. I don't have a delay.

The 730 chip is nano seconds slower than the higher end ones line the 765 and even the 855. I don't have any issues with things loading slow. And in videos comparing them, sometimes the 730 loads in nano seconds faster.

I'd be very ok with the P5.
The lag we talk about is when you take a photo and tap on it to review, there is a waiting time every single time you take a picture, there is a waiting time to review the picture you have just taken (if you don't want to call it lag), you can see the phone is editing the picture on the notification center, it says something like "editing HDR+ picture"

I think iphone and pixel take the best photos when it comes to portraits. I like my fold 2 camera but portraits and skin tones is something I’m not a big fan of. After using it a fair bit now. Happy with other areas though.

A lot of people love MKBHD but in reality he doesn't go into that much detail either. A lot of it comes down to production quality.

Oh yeah, he does a good job. Just hard for me to see a reviewer as talented lol. They just giving an opinion.
Haha I hear ya... I watch plenty of reviews usually production and keeping me interested is a key.... I feel like some don't really review phones.. I prefer real world use cases reviews...

Some just do it to make money on Youtube for sure. I saw one dude comparing the build quality of a iPhone X to the P4a.
So lame, the X was 1K when it was released lol.

In a market as saturated as tech youtubing, the guys with exceptional production quality and editing stand out to me. I think that's where Marques has stood out. I don't think his insight is anything special.

First bit of a gripe with my P5.
Using the camera in other apps such as Instagram (which I use a lot for work) looks really poor. Especially video. Are these apps unable to take advantage of the Pixel imaging magic?
To make it look decent I recorded a video using phone camera then had to split it - processing the trimming of a video 1min 30s video clip seemed to take ages....

And being good in front of a camera. It's not necessarily what you say but how you say it. I find most of the British guys (and I'm British before anyone accuses me on hating on the Brits! ;)) just have that monotonous nasal geek voice that's just super dull.

Instagram, from what Ive read (I dont really use it), is awful on android. They basically built that app to work best with iphones and then ported it to android.

Mrwhosetheboss had a good video explaining why social media apps are better for taking pics/video on iOS than Android. It's far easier for developers to make an app for an OS that releases 4 phones a year, than one that releases over 1,000. So Android has to make do with one size fits all.

Had my headphones for the 5 validated today. So they should be sent out within 2 weeks.

I read a couple of the new iPhone 12 Pro reviews wow crap battery life they're saying worse than last year's 11 Pro and just overall pretty poor battery life.

Apple made the iPhone 12 line a lot thinner than last year's iPhone 11 line.
