Maybe there will be some surprises and a new colour is one of them. I’m not sure what Google is like when it comes to their events, do they usually have a couple of surprises, even tho most things have leaked? Similar to Apple.

Maybe there will be some surprises and a new colour is one of them. I’m not sure what Google is like when it comes to their events, do they usually have a couple of surprises, even tho most things have leaked? Similar to Apple.
Also, how long do y'all think the Watch promo will last for? I think for the 7 Pro, the Watch promo lasted a little bit longer than two weeks?
If the rumors are true, then the 8 Pro will go up in price by $100. So maybe that's why Google is trying to sweeten the pie by offering a free watch 2 with a purchase much like Apple bumping the price of the 15 PM and increasing the base storage from 128 to 256GB.
That's what I think, too. I'm planning to sell the Watch 2 to make up for the additional price increase.

Yeah I don't think that green color is real, probably just a fan site made rumor. But we'll see come Wednesday 
I also agree big no on the black = super boring. I've gone panda white color on my Pixel 2 XL, 3 XL, 4 XL, and 6 Pro. For my current 7 Pro I have black and not a fan at all, can't wait to get a different color.
The porcelain could be cool, but worried it's more of a sandy beige, with rose colored sides / edges which would be an immediate no for me.
The blue is most likely what I'll get, I'm just not a fan of the glossy / shiny sides. Would be so much better if the sides were a darker matte blue.

I don’t like the shiny camera module for the Pro models. They scratch so easily. The matte ones on the non-Pro models is better.
I wonder if Google will fix the poor battery life and slow down in performance after 2-3 months of ownership.

Sounds like there might be a Google Store Exclusive colour but not necessarily Coral. Google software has wallpaper for a greenish 'Jade' green Pixel 8 Pro which has not yet leaked. Could be the green colour.

I'd get the Porcelain color if I knew it was more of a stone off white, and not a rose or pinkish white.

I'd maybe go green actually if it's more like last year's Hazel, and not that fan made light green. Please don't be a mint green.

There are going to be more differences than before between the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro apparently.
This is where the head is at-and as boring as the Black is, it will stand the test of time say in a year or so.
I'm in the US market and my offer was a $200 store credit which expires this Oct 12th.

Haha it’s not the best photo but Hazel is a combo of grey and green. In Italy it’s called Grigio Verde which literally translates to Grey Green! It’s not my cup of tea but is kind of interesting, the colour will appeal to some. The unboxing above is a decent representation of the colour. Google launched the 7 Pro in Hazel, also check out unboxing vids on YT for a better look at the colour.Hazel?! It’s grey!!! :O

Yup I am aware as I had the hazel 7 pro.
That WAS hazel, this is definitely more grey.
Someone asked in the comments of the unboxing video if the fingerprint reader is optical and apparently it is. Was hoping for an ultrasonic. Wonder if it's the same for the 8 Pro.
This would be annoying, because it‘s been a complaint since the Pixel 6.
Now while the sensor seemed to get better in the 7 series with much less mis-fires, they really should be upgrading it now. That one there’s no excuse for IMO. Especially if prices are increasing.
Can’t wait to start my adventure with this element of the phone! lol
