Trades are typically the highest on pre-order day and a few weeks after that. That’s how I got a $300 trade in value for a P4a from Google. The MSRP was $349.
Yeah I recently bought my current Pixel 8 off FB marketplace for £300. So anything over that on trade in will be a nice bonus.

If I can get a good deal I may s24 Ultra. I will definitely get a pixel 9 Pro
I'm always interested in reading your thoughts. You have had the S24 Ultra but have always been a Pixel person. What camp are you in?

I've decided to go for the S24U and Watch Ultra and keep with my Pixel Fold (gone via Samsung direct for a 512GB Titanium Orange S24U and the titanium grey Watch Ultra) - £100 for trade in, 5% for using the app and qualified for the £150 cash back too (could get upped to £300); happy with that :)

The newest Pixel Fold isn't going to be enough to pull me away from the 1st Fold; mines like new and still works faultlessly

15PM and AWU2 sold today via eBay UK - but won't get the Watch Ultra until later this month when they're back in stock

I'm a diehard Nexus / Pixel guy. The vast majority of my smartphones have been those Google phones, started with the Nexus-One back in the day.

Yes I've also had a couple iPhone's, and Samsung Galaxy phones and HTC phones and OnePlus phones.

I can't get comfortable with iOS, so the iPhone is a no go for me. To me iOS feels super outdated like something stuck a decade in the past. I have zero intention on getting an iPhone anytime soon, unless iOS gets a major revision from the ground up, which is doubtful. And I'm happy to avoid anything Apple.

The S24 Ultra is my first Samsung phone since the S8+. And yes the [H]ardware is #1 and the best on this S24U. Long gone are the TouchWiz days, and OneUI is super smooth and has cool customization options without the need for a third party launcher. But there's just something about it I just don't like, and it's hard to say what or why that is?

But my Pixel 8 Pro just feels smoother in a different way, the Pixel UI and Material You is just a pleasure to use and navigate around. The way the UI just behaves with the bubbles and bounces and vibrations and all that, the magic sauce the Pixel comes baked in with is hard to leave.

Yes the S24 Ultra is a superior phone over the 8 Pro in almost every way. But I don't know why I just enjoy using the Pixel more than the Galaxy ?

I'm a big portrait shot guy too, and the camera on the Pixel DESTROYS the Galaxy, like not even a fair fight.

Today I prefer the Pixel Pro line, for me. Yes the Samsung Galaxy and iPhone Pro's smartphones are technically better phones, but not for my usage.

That's great feedback right there. Yeah I've always gravitated back to iPhone but I am considering a long term switch. I am not into Tech like I used to but I'm actually getting a bit tired of bugs on iPhone, which is the main reason I became an iPhone guy, because I felt like it was the easiest experience. But I'm becoming more and more frustrated by it. Loved the S23 Ultra last year but the double apps and struggle to find the best cloud solution was a struggle. Google Pixels seem a lot easier and I actually love Google services. Not sure if I could ever migrate from Apple Music to YouTube Music though haha.

Is Spotify a no go for you? I like it more than Apple Music or YT Music.

Oh yeah I always forget about Spotify, lol. And they let you play music you've downloaded too if I remember correctly. That's my one big gripe about Apple Music. I like to download live shows and can't add them to my library without a PC.

Is Apple Music much different on Android? I've used both (on iOS and Android) for a long time and don't notice any significant difference? Revanced patcher has you covered re: YT and YT music haha. I was paying the $99 yearly dev fee to Apple for the "privilege" of being able to sideload apps for these features.

Wasn’t Revanced nuked by Google? I tried installing it 2 months ago and it wouldn’t load YTM

I've zero issues using Apple Music on my Pixel Fold; I don't really use any other music offering

But it works as it needs to
